Twice I have received emails indicating my USAA insurance is about to expire, and giving this number as the one to call to pay my overdue bill.  I called USAA using another number, however, and they said this 888-427-7476 is not one of their numbers.  They also said none of insurance is past due.

USAA told me to send the email to them for evaluation as a phishing scam.

I also received an email telling me to call (888) 427-7476 with my credit card info to pay an overdue USAA insurance bill. I already have automatic payment, but I went to my bookmarked USAA website to check. Then I googled the phone number. How does a phisher with an 888 number stay in business?

I received a call and they tried to tell me I owed from an old payday loan. First I never had a payday loan from that company and the one I did have one from was paid off or I wouldn't have got the title to my car back. Then I ask for the number of the company and they wouldn't give it to me. So I kept calling them scammers. I told them I filed bankruptcy this year and this would've been on there. So they hung up on me. Well I kept calling back and they finally blocked me 😂😂
