- PeekoThis company doesn't disclose it's name during the calls and has called our office on two other numbers beside this one:
702.629.5136
702.942.0731
Each time I say we are not interested and ask for the calls to stop. The solicitations started on Thursday, Aug. 14. We've been getting a call a day, even on Saturday, since then. VERY questionable sales practices (check out the text on our caller ID - that's not a message from our phone system, that's what this company set the caller ID to come through as- why hide who you are????????).- Call type: Telemarketer
- Bob Potties| 2 repliesThis is a legitimate company. They have helped my company get housing for trade shows a few times now and I give them high regards. The posting listed here are stupid except the one from Dave on June 22.

- JOhn replies to Dave| 2 repliesmust be an employee of this service.
They simply are charging credit cards without authorization.
Watch out, they are not safe to deal with, in fact, they will take your personal information and then charge your credit card without a completed form.
Tell your organization not to use them. FRAUD - Cheryl replies to Bob PottiesAgain, would love to better understand how they did this.
I have dealt with them once for my organization and they basically called my membership without my authorization, went around my security and charged peoples credit cards.
Watch out this organization is a travel poacher.

John - Debby replies to DaveDAve,
Here's what else they do, glad you didn't get taken for a long ride on this one but I'd be more careful in the future they are scam artists! Please see below, I found this listing when investigating them because they are targeting people for conferences that they have no connection to.

Copyright © 2009 craig - Dave| 5 repliesOk, this is my second post here. This is the 4th show I booked my rooms through this company and I have had no problems. I am giving this repeat information because my agent has gone above and beyond for me. Seems like all the other posts here are not backing the statements with and fact just opinion. All of our companies have people out there giving bad press, even mine. This company also is a supporter of a lot of charities and social functions back to their community.
Stop being haters and use someone else who you have a good relationship with. By the way, I booked my vacation to Hawaii through IEA Event Planning and not only did they get me an upgraded suite but, they also got free breakfast thrown in too:)

By the way JOhn, you sound like an idiot and are probably just an employee of a competitor of theirs...Dope- Caller: IEA Event Planning

- Rita replies to Dave| 3 repliesSorry Dave..my client was just taken for a $3000 ride. Nigel solicted my client directly to book rooms for Lab Automation in Palm Springs. Client booked 5 rooms and paid them in full OCTOBER 2. December 18, my client receives a phone call from IEA stating the rooms are not booked, and would they settle for a lesser quality hotel room?..Client said NO and please refund the money (they went direction to LAb Automation and booked their rooms instead). After being promised the $$ would be refund, my client is still waiting. There are maybe one or two positive posts about this company, the rest have stories just like my client. If you have a contact there with IEA, please post it because my client wants their money back.
- PeterThis company went out of business last year. This phone number now belongs to another company in an entirely different industry.
- Rita| 1 replyyes..but they changed phone #'s and business name. They changed their name to IEA event planning...same scam. From what I understand(google IEA event planning) and you will see TONS of people that are getting ripped off by this company. They operate the same way. Promise hotel rooms..take your CC for payment in full up front..and don't book a thing. It is a warning to all who book shows. Do not book with anyone but the hotel directly, or the housing bureau who is hosting the show. Canon and Devicelink, and Experient are the three biggies that come to mind as reputable booking sources.
- Not Happy| 3 repliesDo NOT book anything through these SCAMMERS... That is all they are............
- Stu replies to Not Happy| 2 repliesI recieve a call from Chambree Frazier in May of 2009. I was told IEA had been contracted by the NBAA organization (of which I am a member) to book hotel rooms for an upcomning convention. I booked through them and was sent confirmation. I arrived at the hotel months later to find out that IEA never transfered funds and I would be responsible for charges. After doing research, the NBAA organization never heard of them not did they contrct with them. IEA farms convention list and falsely represents themselves to scam people out of money. After calling IEA multiple times I finally got through to a Marie. She refused to give me here last name and told me no one there was authorized to speak directly to customers. I would have to email. Guess what? No response. IEA are just common criminals. I sincerely hope that we can take them down for fraud. I am going through the Nevada Chamber of Commerce and the South Nevada BBB. We lost almost $800. The problem with these forums is anyone can get on. Any person who has anything positive to says about IEA is one of the IEA theifs trying to conn you. And if you are an IEA rep and you're reading this I hope you sleep good at night knowing you're the scum of the earth... a petty crook.
- Nina replies to Stu| 1 replyMy company used IEA for the first time this January.I was glad to say everything worked out beautifully. Had i read these comments before i probaby would not have done buisness with them. The truth is my agent did a great job to keep me updated and even fallowed up with me aftwerwards. Thank you.
- Also not happy!Complete and utter SCAM. Our company lost almost $1300. Our story is the same as everyone else out there. They solicited our business with a phone call. My boss decided to try them out for some hotel rooms we needed for an upcoming conference. However, my company is no longer attending the conference, so I called IEA to cancel the rooms. They said I had to send an e-mail with my cancellation information, as they couldn’t cancel anything over the phone. I thought that sounded incredibly fishy, so I contacted the hotel directly to see if we even had reservations made. Of course, they didn’t have anything in their system under our names. I began searching IEA on the internet and found nothing but similar scam stories that IEA has pulled on other companies. Now we’re out $1300. It’s incredibly unfortunate that there are people in this world that stoop to this kind of level to make money. How sad.
- Bob Respit replies to NVLA Organization| 8 repliesI have had the best deals with IEA so far...
- George Juckett replies to JOhnBest rate in town, I been do travel with them for quite some time now, they back there product with great service to!
- telemarketers-r-scum replies to Bob Respit| 7 repliesThen why would you be looking up the number on here? Only one reason -- YOU WORK THERE and are part of the SCAM. You crooks have made several positive posts on this board, what's the matter, is the TRUTH cutting into you illegal profits?
Anyway thanks for letting us know the site is working. Nobody believes this crap on here, you should go back and try to run your FILTHY SCAM from the boiler room 'til the authorities catch up with you (closer than you think).
