Our daily call from these lowlife scammers. They are not ATT, They are prison inmates phishing to get your information to drain your bank account.  Just hang up on these scumbags. ATT says they never ask for EIN numbers. I report these scumbags every day to the FTC at 1-888-382-1222 for all the good it does.

We get calls from these scammers on a daily basis and have told each one of them that we won't do any business with them and to remove us from their calling list.  They don't stop calling and will argue with you.  Today I heard my boss state emphatically, '' Stop calling this number.''  The man with the thick accent then stated, ''I will call you back.''

I did just call the (800)355-9542, "Office of the President" at AT&T.  He was not able to help because he said our business number was already on the ATT DNC list and the callers are NOT from ATT.  He said to consider filing a police report as these scammers
are harassing our business on a daily basis.  He said to keep saying NO and they would eventually go on to calling other businesses.

Received two calls from 888-434-2586 within two hours of each other, trying to convince us we needed to update our accounts due to the installation of a DSL fiber optic line that was installed 4 years ago. I could hear multiple conversations going on in the background as though it was coming from a call center.  When I told the man that we do not accept solicitations about our phone service and prefer to deal directly with ATT via a call initiated by us  or through the ATT website, the man hung up on me.  This speaks volumes.  Do not accept phone calls from this number.  Hope this helps.

This number called the office yesterday, and my boss answered it before I could. She hung up right away and said it was "AT&T." I told her most of those calls aren't legitimate. That's why I prefer to take these calls and say, "I'm sorry, we're not allowed to discuss that over the phone. Please put us on your internal do not call list."

Called claiming to be from AT&T asking for the person who handles the business account line. I asked if I could take a message and she panicked and hung up. Clearly not legit.

Keep telling yourself that Mike. If it's legitimate they wouldn't keep calling me and disconnecting.

Quit trying Mike, no one believes you.

Caller ID says "ATN" but claims to be AT&T. If you're from AT&T, I think youshould at least know the party you want to speak to, instead of saying 'whoever's in charge'. Dead giveaway. Annoying.

Same stuff again today. This time I picked up and stayed silent and a woman said "Hello?" twice. I hung up on her. Don't know if it will make them stop calling or not but it's worth a shot.

"Carter" with "AT&T" called, when I told him he would have to speak to my boss he said he would call back later and hung up before i could respond.  Good luck getting through me!

When these people couldn't reach me by phone (they just tried again), they sent me a letter in the mail claiming that they were EdgeConnect, working with AT&T (even included a letter supposedly signed by an AT&T official), and gave me the same story about upgrading. Said they wanted to put equipment on our property that supposedly would not affect our service at all. I call AT&T and they said they've never heard of EdgeConnect. These people just don't give up.

I agree!  Mike....do you work for these scammers! Good Lord! I just talked to one and he didn't know that we went from dsl to fiber and back to dsl. If he worked there he'd know that. When i confronted him....he hung up! What a joke and so professional!

Received a call from this number this morning.  Knew it wasn't anyone I wanted to talk to but for grins I answered.  Quiet with slight pause before a woman came on the line and I heard call center noise in background.  After she said, "Hya howya duein'?"  I hung up.
