Got a call from these slimebags tonight - say that I'm in arrears of $98.27 but I owe them $578.11 in total for 4 magazines for 5 year subscriptions. I only subscribe to 2 of them through another company - NOT through Reader's Choice Promotions. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he amazingly told me he'd write off the 2 mags I don't get which would give me a 40% discount. I said fine (playing the game)...just put all of that in an invoice and send it to me. He says they never invoice and asks for a new credit card. I tell him no way - send me something in writing. He says you'll never get that from us - I tell him, then you'll never get your payment either. I ask why is it I'm getting some of the mags but not the others, so he gives me the address that the 2 mags I never received were sent to. He gives me an address - not the one I've been at for 23 years and then asks me to give him my address. No way!! I ended the convo by telling him to call me back in 3 days after I investigated their company and business practices. He says he might not be the same person - I tell him that he'd better be or he won't get any payment. They definitely won't - I'm reporting them to the BBB right now.
