got message saying call to receive your prize

I also received a call saying to call this number to claim a prize. The number that came up on my caller ID was 915-503-1789. That number is from El Paso, TX.

I got a call said claim your prize - the caller ID was 503-436-7514 - which is Portland, OR

Received message on cell to call the 888 number above to claim a prize. Caller ID registered a Georgia cell phone number 706-418-4139. Scam suspected.

Stated I had won ma prize, ,then no answer at other end.

It sounds like they're spoofing inbound numbers to escape prosecution for violation of the Federal DNC List.  I got a message on my cell to call back this 888 number but it came from a local number (704 area code).  I had another call earlier but the message cut off before I could discern anything intelligible.  Off to file a complaint...

I got the message from 816-318-5052. Appears local to me.

I got a call from 614-295-5894 stating I won a prize and to call 888-438-3713.

call from a local #, but msg said to return call to 888 # for winning prize

Also received a call from 952-232-1761 (local) stating to call 1-888-438-3713.

Same message to me from Mark to call 888-438-3713 then nothing...no answer.  What a prank!  He should probably be arrested!

called from an orlando florida number - telling me to call and claim my prize - didnt bother - checking to see what others are finding .

Yeah got the same thing, did reverse phone number look up and seen all of your posts and complaints, thanks for the heads up! My question is how are they getting my number, I am in the phone book but...??

Got the same exact message about claiming a prize, and then no answer when I called.
Call came from (209) 249-1925, from Manteca, CA.  It refers to a WCA subscribing service for special offers, but offers no one to talk to.
