I don't know who is texting me, but they are trying to give me a $250 gift card to nothing.

I just got a text from 15402097577 to request a 250.00 gift card package and to call 888-438-7844. No other information

Me too! I just had the exact same problem. Got a text from 7183744550 (this is a Bronx number, I checked) asking me to call 8884387844 to request my $250 gift card or text quit to quit. Does anybody have any news about this story?

got the same message. so i called it. voice recording came on, said your call is very important to us. the next available rep will be with you. then it disconnected

My text was from 517-303-9143 telling me to call 888-438-7844 for my $250 gift card pack.

Same at 12:49 today got a text saying to call back this number to request a $250 gift card pak.....obviously a gimic, scam, whatever...
Looks like they tried a lot of people today!
I must get 20 calls a day from all kinds of stupid scammers.

wanted to correct my previous remarks...the text came from 804236-6045 and I was to call back the 888-438-7844 for the gift pak $250...same junk call though

Got a text saying to call this number for a $250 Wal mart gift card or reply to stop. I called, recording said please wait, then disconnected. 888-438-7844

Unsolicited TEXT message 4/30/13 at 10:59am from 970-402-2954 with following message:

Claim your $250.00 retail Wal-Mart voucher call us at (888) 438.7844
Reply HELP for help, QUIT to cancel

Maybe scam asked for DOB and personal info not comfortable providing same

mine was exactly the same. says i won a $250 walmart gift card.  I didn't call..got to be a scam but how did they get my cell #??

I got that text today from 312-459-1264

Don't call this number. This has all the tell tell signs of information/data harvesting.

Just receive a text stating I won a Walmart Gift card.  Please dont give any information. If you have won something they will already have your information!!!!! SCAM
