This number keeps ringing and annoying me.

I am divorced yet within the last 2days 6010 Golding Center Dr.Winston Salem, NC 27103(800) 438-8892888-438-8870 collection department.Caller: Sheffield Financial has been harassing me leaving rude voice  mails insinuating that I am some how responsible for my husbands PRE MARITAL debt just because he decided to tell them I am! really! I'm not happy about their lack of follow through and knowledge in regards to the law and judgments already determined by a judge..would like to know what to do or say in order to make them realize that I am not the loan borrower never have been so I do not desirve their threats calls or attitudes in regards to my ex husbands financial affairs.

It is Sheffield Financial.  I am actually writing this post to give them credit for their courtesy and professionalism on the phone.  I was two months behind, not purposely, just can't pay with money I don't have.  Unexpected things have happened and people that owe me money are late, etc.  I had been ignoring their calls.  However, when I did talk to them to pay, they were great to talk to.  

They did not beat me up for being late, they were empathetic and said "if things get tough again, just keep the communication lines open with us."

It is awful to get collection calls, but my advice would be to answer and be humble and honest.  I was wrong or they wouldn't have called.  Ignoring their calls didn't help me any, but when I did talk to them, they spoke with respect, empathy and the utmost professionalism.

Bottom line is I hope to never borrow money again, but Sheffield isn't bad to deal with.  I was the problem.

Calling regarding an employee that hasn't worked here for years. Keep asking them to stop calling. The guy said he would "make a note of it"

Call repeatedly and hangs up!

Received a call today for an employee who left almost 2 years ago and died in September. They "removed" our number, but I'm willing to bet we get more calls.

Don't you guys at Sheffield have better things to do than play on the internet

I don't understand why they called me. I'm always on-time with my payments. They didn't even leave a voice mail to explain anything because I missed the call. What are you even doing, Sheffield?
