- Caller: Kirk
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Annoyed!!!This number is associated with some company (as mentioned above), American Home Protect, LLC, (in St. Peters, MO) trying to sell some home warranty extension. Their offer is almost threatening, even with a **Failure to Call** section. This was their "SECOND NOTICE". "DO NOT DESTROY".
They may not even offer coverage in my state!
I feel that any company using these types of marketing tactics is not to be trusted.- Caller: American Home Protect
- Call type: Fax
- MrytleLetter from American Home Protect, LLC in St. Peters, MO, about Home Warranty policy expiring soon. Failure to Call, blah, blah, blah. More like a threat than anything. Policy May Expire......SOON! Not a given date, but SOON! Yep, scam!!
- Peggy| 6 repliesI received two rather unprofessional looking and extremely unsettling letters (probably copied rather than printed)
from American Home Protect, LLC, in St. Peter's, MO, within the last two weeks. "Failure to Call" was presented threateningly, and, and possible results of my not calling sounded even worse. This scammer group should be shut down and prevented from sending out further garbage.!!! - MarieI received the same two letters. Never heard of the company before so the rush for an immediate response set off a red flag. Total scam.
- TICKED OFF DAUGHTER!!!| 4 repliesMy elderly parents in Georgia just fell for this scam!!! Now I am in the process of trying to undo everything and report them!!! I don't know how these people sleep at night preying on people like they do!!!
- Caller: American Home Protect LLC
- StacieI received 2 letters in the mail stating our home warranty was going to expire VERY soon. I called to see if this was legit. NOPE!! They wanted us to pay $160 RIGHT NOW and then they would send us the information of what we bought. Scam written all over it!
- Caller: American Home Protect,LLC
- MatthewThey keep sending letters that my warranty may be about to expire. They called also trying to get me to pay $160 right away. I don't even have a warranty with them.

- Kym| 2 repliesI got my pink letter marked "DO NOT DESTROY" and all the threating remarks. I searched the web to see if it was legit. All I found was the phone number and this comments. Thank you for the information on this.
Research the company and make sure its not a scam.- Caller: American Home Protect LLC
- kelseySame pink letter!! I was confused at first since I did purchase home warranty for 3 years... thought that maybe they changed their name? Search online and found nothing on them! Scammers!!

- Don replies to Peggy| 1 replyI was delighted they wasted money to send me wood stove starter paper. Thanks for the free burning materials please send me more bs.
- Jay TeeSame as described in the rest of this string. Caught my attention at first because I built a new home around this time last year and a warranty associated with that purchase does have a sliding scale of changes after one year. Thanks to all before me who reported on this same tacky pink marketing nonsense. paying it forward....
- Caller: American Home Protect, LLC
- aly replies to KymThanks to you all for reporting this scam! I received the same pink, very threatening letter re: potential lapse in coverage. Checked before I called, very glad (and grateful) that I did. This company sounds evil.
- Phoenix replies to Peggy| 3 repliesI received one of these today. Scarry thing is they must have got my info from my original lender as they are on the letter on the right side as RE:xx Lender.
Ask your lender that your info not be shared with others.
Don't fall for these scams. - BigA replies to Phoenix| 2 repliesAll of that information could have easily been gotten from public records and data broker.
- LarryThis is the same scamming co. But the number has changed it is now or mine 1888-447-0029

- Annie martgot the same threatening pink letter today. Gave them a call and they wereVERY pushy and rude. I couldn't believe it. Basically said if I didn't get the coverage I would be neglecting my children because if our AC or hot water went out. Literally couldn't believe it. Also they would not let me get off the phone for anything. You have to be rude back to them apparently. BIG SCAM!!! So thankful I didn't give my card number. Their number has changed 1-888-447-0275

- John| 1 replyI received two pink letters in the mail, and I noticed that no member or policy identification numbers were listed on the letters that would have otherwise identified which specific policy was going to expire. The phone number listed on the first letter (1-888-446-4493) differed from the phone number listed on the second letter (1-888-446-4359). I live in Hawaii, and I knew the probability was very low that I had purchased a home warranty policy from a company based in Missouri (especially because I just renewed by actual home protection plan the month before). I suppose your date of purchase and your bank lender information are a matter of public record, which is how it showed up on their threatening notices. I'm glad I found this website that identified this same fishy scam that I was suspicious about! Don't call these numbers!
