- LisaSame as all of you on here...he called my phone several times for days. Last night he called four times in fifteen minutes, because I kept hanging up on him. He was very rude and pushy. He also wanted $450.00 to fix my computer that wasn't broken. He tried to lock me out of my computer, but I locked him out and now they are harrassing my again today. I just put a block on my phone. Hopefully he will stop calling. This is a major Scam. Says my computer was hacked by a Russian hacker and money was taken from my banking account. He gave me a number of the account, but it was not mine. Just hang up and give him no information. I feel they are the hackers.
- Caller: They say from Dell....not true.
- HuffalloThese folks keep calling and won't stop. I finally blocked them. They are extremely persistent and they claim to be Microsoft experts and that my identity has been compromised and they can fix it. They got a little off base trying to tell me that my IP address was compromised and they had to fix that, also explaining that each computer has one IP address issues by the government. What a line of garbage! One guy even cussed me out and hung up. Then to my surprise they waited a few months and called back claiming they weren't the ones who caused me out and tried to run the scam all over again. Don't waist your time just block them
- Caller: TLC and Relient as Microsoft experts

- Idahi replies to Buster00Buster, This feature doesn't work because they have people working inside some of the provider companies. I dare not name names, as I don't want a suit against me for slander. However, a LARGE phone, tv, etc. company has been infiltrated with these people.
Best of luck
I - Idahi replies to iraBecause they just change their name and phone numbers. I've been dealing with these jerks for about 4 years. Now, just writing this I will do a shutdown and IP rotation to keep them from finding my computer again.
Best of luck
I - BuncoBusterCalls saying he fixed my computer. I don't and never have had Dell equipment. When I tell them I'm not interested in answering his questions he continues talking. I hang up after telling them to take me off their list.
- Caller: Unknown
- FranCaller said he was from Dell. He gave me my Dell computer tag number. I believed him and was in the process of letting him take over my computer (Dell has done this before). I hung up on him before that actually happened because the call seemed suspicious.
- Caller: Dell
- LindaReceived call from 888-451-1603. Said they were from Dell and that my computer was being hacked and I need to let them take control of my PC and let them download a fix. I told them no, hung up, called Dell technical support. Dell tech took phone number that called me and the fact that the scammer had my service tag number and email address. Dell technician asked me to also fill out report at www.dell.com/reportphonescams to add to data for Dell's legal team. Technician says they would never call and that any future scam calls can be reported to their www.dell.com/reportphonescams web site and/or by calling Dell at 800-387-5727.
- MiguelThey call me today, Jan 31, 2016, 15 times between 5:30 pm to 8 pm. I asked him to not call me again, and obviously they continued to call. I answered, and and told him to removed my number from his list. It don't work. I contacted my provider to block the number...so far so good!

- ShantaThis number called me today. I didn't answer the first time. Then they called right back. The guy said he was calling from tech support and quoted the type of dell laptop that I had. He said he's been receiving messages from my IP address. I explained to him that I haven't used that laptop in over 3 years and I have a different IP address and service provider. Then he started to get snappy with me saying he was just doing his job and if I didn't want the services, I didn't have to use it and it was my call. I kept telling him that I don't understand what he's talking about and that I don't have that IP address anymore. He still had attitude saying it could effect my iPhone. I knew then that this must be a scam and I told him I wasn't interested. I then googled the number and found all of these complaints. Crazy huh? 888-451-1603

- William EngelsCall constantly. Do not have Windows installed and now they are swearing and calling me names. I have tried to tell them that they are listed as a scam but this does no good. Why can't the government stop this but still monitor the normal people in this country and raise taxes to install lights at their high school?

- DEBBIECalled me 6 times, back to back saying he was from IOLA Technologies. I'd hang up, he'd call right back telling me he's trying to help me. Heavy foreign accent, call center noise in the background. Acted like it was urgent that I did all the steps he wanted me to because they were receiving signals that my service was being corrupted. He kept saying I was controlling my computer, not him. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! It's a total SCAM!
- Caller: IOLA Technolgies/SCAM
- Lois KarasekReceived multiple calls, back to back, from this number last evening and one more time again this morning. After purposely irritating me with their repeated calls and failing to respond to my polite request to take me off their call list, I finally answered the call, then cut it off the last two times they called. When I allowed her to get in two words, she claimed the "...Russians were hacking my computer...". I thought that was a good one. She (at least I think it was a she) had a decided Middle Eastern accent. I've never encountered one of these scammers that was so determined, however. I fell for one of these scams two years ago and lost every single email in my file. The best I can say from that encounter was that I got my money back and learned a valuable lesson. Don't fall for the same thing.
