888-455-1155

Later I found out that Kraken doesn't own 888 455 1155 but a hacker posing as Technical Support does.  I tried logging into my account and was presented with a webpage stating I was locked out of my account due to being hacked and needed to call this number.  They're phishing and they're good at it.  These guys also pose as "Coinbase" support beware!!!!

same think happened to me, the claim that they are coin base support, the guys has an Indian accent. hey asked me to identify my IP address, I didn't do it

Beware of this number. They're indian-accent hackers posing as any company having to do with cryptocurrency and always suggesting to control your screen with screenconnect to fix something, requesting for your IP address or asking for a picture of your ID card or driver's license. Disconnect any call having to do with them immediately. I was a victim and lost a lot of money.

This number is advertised as technical support to many companies. I thought it was Bittrex tech support and lost several thousand dollars!

Posing as customer service for Coinbase and Kraken. its a room full of indian guys just plowing through everyone who comes across this number.

how did they steal your money?

This sounds like the FAKE "computer virus" SCAM where the caller gets remote access to your computer & puts malware on it so they can rip you off for $$$ to remove it - or claim there is a problem that only they can fix.  NEVER allow remote computer access to a cold caller!  If they got you, call your  card company NOW & file a fraudulent use claim.

I called the fake 888-455-1155 Coinbase hotline and had a lot of money stolen from me
