Caller claimed my Window computer was hacked and broadcasting by personal information on the internet. I don't have any Window computers. I played along and the caller asked me to go to my click on my "my computer" icon. At this point I told the caller I couldn't see it because I have a Mac; he hung up immediately.

Caller claimed my Window computer was hacked and broadcasting by personal information on the internet.  When I said I was at work and my computer was at home he hung up.

This number called me and when I questioned how they got my number the man hung up on our call.

This is a phishing attempt - don't answer and block this caller. They will tell you that your computer was "hacked" and try to get information from you.

Called my cell phone 2x. But if I don't know who is calling. I don't answer.

Claimed to be from Windows calling about computer.  Caller hung up before asking any questions..

Called me a few times the past few days. On the third call, claimed he works with Windows. Was very demanding and insisted I know nothing about computers, that I'm not a tech and that I MUST follow instructions, I told him to [***] off and quit calling my dam phone. He said "[***] your mother" and hung up on me.

Funny I told him I was law enforcement and knew the scam and he went on a nice f bomb tirade lol

Called Mon 2/29, one ring, no message.  Blocking.

Caller said they were from Verizon and needed to verify my account.
