- donna| 5 repliesThis is AT&T/Directv calling you about a late payment. DIrectv never had a dialer before the merger.
- Caller: AT&T/Directv
- AnnHas called 11 times in 3 days about a late payment. This is new since the AT&T merger.
- Caller: AT&T/DirectTV
- Really?| 1 replyI know my payment is late. It isn't necessary to call 6 times, yes 6 times, in one day.
- Caller: Directv/ATT
- cynGet a call from them every morning. If they are going to call they could at least have the decency to answer. They don 't answer. I called it back Said thanks for calling Direct TV. I just hung up. Just getting sick of it.
- Caller: Direct TV
- Rv replies to donnaThanks Donna
- NerakkI'm so sick of these calls, I know it's the computer robo dialing, no message left, just a hang up.
- Caller: Direct/AT&T
- StaciThis is directv about a past due balance and this is not something new since merging with AT&T. I got these calls several years ago on my cell phone and apparently the person who had the number before me had Directv and never paid a bill, had several companies call about past due balances, it took me over 1 1/2 yrs to finally get them to stop calling and now today I got another call. I called them back and was once again told my number would be removed; I have an AZ number because we lived there and moved back to GA and I never changed the number and now I wish I had.
- Caller: DirecTv
- Tom coghlanSame has gone on with me. My TV went down 12 days ago and they came out immediately and got one going. I called the next day to come and get the second one fixed, and I was told someone would call that day, (never happened. Called the second time the operator told me the bad service was due to late bill. Still not fixed////. Maybe we ought to switch to DISH, $48.00 a month and locked in for two years. I recorded the girl that told me I was getting poor service because I was behind 1.
- Caller: Direct TV
- J replies to donnaIt's Directv calling about late payment.
- Annoyed20 calls a day is ridiculous, and I don't even have direct tv, sad part is I'm was definitely thinking about switching and getting rid of no good Comcast but I don't no now!!
- Caller: Direct tv
- EllenI called directv about my past due payment which I still have days on. I told them it would be paid before the "due date". they said that that was fine etc etc. I told them to please stop the auto calls. they said they would. they haven't stopped. guess that is how they get you to pay the bill by nagging you. if I didn't like directv better than the other companies, I would cancel due to this. this did not happen before the merger with AT&T. used to have problems with AT&T when I had their cell phone service too.
- Caller: Directv
- TedCalls and no left messages. I knew this would happen with AT&T, I got rid of them and went with Cingular...They bought Cingular. I cancelled my home service with AT&T and thought I finally got rid of them. Now they buy DIRECTV and here goes the terrible customer service AT&T is known for...The Freddy Krueger of business....they never die!!!!
- Caller: AT&T/DirecTV
- Pauline replies to Really? They call 15 days prior to when it's necessary to paid the bill. They are really annoying!!!
- Annoyed| 1 replyStarted calling everyday 2 weeks ago. I finally called the number back today, said DirecTV, and tried directing me to an automated payment system. Without even mentioning a name, said this mystery person owed $130. I said "customer service", and after a half hour wait, an Indian sounding person answered the phone. I gave him my phone number, and he said nothing came up in the system. I gave him the number that calls me, and he said not one of theirs. I then mentioned that I was talking to him directly from THAT number he claims is not theirs. He said it must be fraud, and game me this other number to call 888-444-0333. DirecTV fraud alert center, was closed when I called. I concur with the other comments, AT&T trying to collect old debts using erroneous phone numbers, denying it's them. No problem. I recorded the call, and have a log of the date and time of every call. Going to be a nice payday for me if they don't stop.👍

- Marce| 1 replyDon't call
- Caller: Direct tv
- Yoda1725 replies to MarceNo one at 800notes is calling you. Posting a request to stop calling you, avails you of nothing. If your number is for cell phone, get a call blocking app, if it is a landline, invest in a call blocker
- Niko replies to donnaYep, AT&T/DirectTV regarding billing. They also OUTSOURCED to China, so that is where the call comes from. They lack the ability/authority to make payment arrangements, as well.
- BobI called back and threatened to rape them. Calls stopped.
- Caller: Late payment
- Anna replies to AnnoyedYes they have been calling me to and it is not direct TV they do not know that phone number that is not anything to do with them and I had to report them to the fraud department so whoever is calling everyone from this number is not really DirecTV if you call back and you get an automated service really listen to it it's not them call and report
- annoyedRecorded message claiming to be Duke Energy and saying that there was a severe storm coming and there just wanted us to be prepared in the event of extended power outages. We have completely clear weather for the next week.... No storm in our forecast, nor more than a 20% chance of rain. This was definitely not Duke Energy
