I am back due on my home Depot loan by a month. They wanted a payment , NOT scammers hahaha they're debt collectors ,just b.s harrasing debt collectors

I've gotten a few calls from them.  Having looked up the number and seeing mixed reviews of Scam/Debt Collector/Loan service I quickly chekced my credit because I don't have any deliquent accounts and havent for many years.  Credit is all clear so I am sure this is a scam for a sneaky way to get you to open a loan account.  Plus, they asked for me using my maiden name.  I've not used that for quite a few years.

They are not a debt collector. They are an creditor company. I will say that they are not good at customer service.

Not debt collectors. They are the credit company Home Depot and other construction places use to collect accounts. They are simply put an actual creditor. Not a debt collector.

So wait - Home Depot and others use this caller to "collect accounts" but they're "not debt collectors". Huh?!

These people service the loans of these large creditors across the country. They are the origin company who issues the loans. Financial Loan Servicer, however the number is the debt collectors department in Kentucky.

You would have to mail in a cease and desist letter. they dont listen. they are a debt collector.

This is Greensky, a lender/underwriter for home improvement financing. It's legit, but they need to work on identifying themselves.

I got ANOTHER call from 888476-3860.  I have the screening feather on my phone and the caller was told (by my phone) the I am using a screening device and that they can tell me who is calling and then I can answer or spam the call.  All that the caller said was "idiot" and i had my phone tell them to remove me from their call list.  Thought it was funny!!!

No they are a scam. No company asks for your full SS number.
