This number is part of a scammer to a mediation law firm calling themselves Southeast Mediation Firm, Inc. Rec'd a letter on 4/6/16 claiming that I owed $1,683 to a Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. The letter was suspicious and it had all kinds of red flags and errors. The notary seal was a phony and signature on it was a forged one.  It turns out the person I talked to on the phone was pretending to be a Contract Attorney and told me all kinds of lies like how I would be found guilty of not paying this so called debt and the judge would not allow me to speak. It didn't make since because I'm a Paralegal and in a court room during a bankruptcy hearing, a judge will let the person speak before making any decisions. I have no idea what law school this lady went to, but she is a bad criminal. The so-called Paralegal who answered the phone was more of a [***] when he threatened to have me prosecuted and thrown in a federal prison. I just want everyone to be aware of this scammer group. Here are the phone numbers they are using in Atlanta, Georgia:

    Office Phone Number is 404-334-5933
    Toll Free Number is 1-888-479-3629
    Senior prelegal Recovery Analyst 1-866-206-7232

The time to call them between 8 am to 9 pm EST is phony because when I called several times yesterday, all I got was an answering machine to the Mediation Department. Left three messages and stopped calling.

Stephanie Lowinger is the ring leader of this group. She's a fraud, con artist and one stupid SOB.

I just had the same thing happen to me also today.  The Company called my phone and made all types of allegations without paperwork to back it up. With my understanding is that some type of letter that is to be certified should of came to my house, but I have not ever received one nor do I have a outstanding debt that is out there for a debt that is not paid.  So all be aware of this scam

I have recieved calls & a letter as described with a notary seal on it stating I owed $1044.2 (that's right .2) I have never had any line of credit thru Chase Manhattan Bank which I verified by my credit report. Who can this be reported to? Someone out there is going to fall for this scam.

The ring leader of this crime based FAKE collection agency, is no other than the Stephanie Lowinger, she was prosecuted in Buffalo, NY for ripping off service men who were deployed, yes you got it straight up SCUM. She would use scare tactics to scare family members into wiring her thousands of dollars. She steals customers family members info as well and used it to open cell phones and utilities. Her partner Brian Miller is a thug who has been in and out of jail and suspicion of Murder,  and her daughter LAYLA MILLER ( miller is an alias) is the secretary.... Run far from this crew..... here is a link:

What letter did you receive, what did it say?  If it were a real complaint filed in the court system it would have had to come certified or delivered by hand.

It came through email. I did extensive search on these people. The real owner is Stephanie Lowinger aka Stephanie Miller. She was busted in New York for doing the same thing there as she is doing from Atlanta. I have reported her to the state of Georgia's attorney generals office as well contacted the New York State attorney generals office. As well as the BBB and my home state attorney generals office. Google her name. You will see it all. Her accomplice is Brian Miller. Also uses name of Layla Miller which was her child. She had brain cancer. Stephanie did a fundraiser to raise money to help with the costs of her child's healthcare but she was receiving government funds so fundraiser wasn't necessary. She took the money she got and got herself a breast enhancement surgery with it. When I spoke with her today and called her by Stephanie, she backtracked immediately, told me to quit harassing her, and hung up. It's not over by a long shot.

Also don't take calls from 1(844) 882-1396 and also (404) 334-5933.  Uses names Marie Henning, Jeffrey O'Neal, sarah B. Franklin, Sharon Carson. And just to be aware, Sharon Carson was identified as magistrate of Calhoun county, GA. I called the magistrate court there. They've never heard of her. The email used was from scarsonlegalcorrespondence@gmail.com. Per the attorney I spoke with today, no legit company would send a legal document through email. There would be mail correspondence. And, they wouldn't request that any money be delivered through wiring. I could go on and on with all the information I have uncovered today. It's ridiculous. When doing a reverse address search of the address provided on the documentation for Southeast Financial Mediation, Inc, it revealed a contacts widget. When you click on that it reveals the names Stephanie Lowinger, Brian Miller, and Layla Miller.
