Called me to tell me that I need to change my payment options regarding my student loans, I checked my account online and everything is current, nothing to change, so I am reporting it as spam call.

I received the same thing. It comes up as unknown,and today is the first time they left a message,about student loans. I called the number and all I got was a recording saying goodbye. So I'm reporting it also.

I have received a call from an unknown number. Today they left message, saying that Its about my student loan and they left this # 888-479-4353 and reference number is 007641, but when I called that numbers it says goodbye.

I received the same voicemail. Even the same reference number (007641) I do have a student loan out, so I called my loan provider first and asked about this message. She said my loan is in good standing, no changes have been made and it sounded like a solicitor call to her. I called the 888 number and I could hear music and noise in background. Not very professional sounding at all. The person who answered said the company name, but it was mumbled, so I asked her to repeat it. I still couldn't make out the whole name just blah blah debt blah blah recovery. She didn't ask for reference number or my name, she only asked if I had $10,000 or more in student loans. I said i just spoke with my loan provider and everything is in good standing. She then asked if I had $10,000 or more in credit card charges or medical bills. I said no and she said to have a nice day and hung up.
