Recieved a call from this number. There was a man on the other end named Charles claiming he was from Edmunds and associates asking to speak with my wife about an outstanding debt that she supposedly being sued for from some bank. He provided a case number (G8352098) and proceeded to tell me that if she didn't comply or pay the debt, that her wages would be garnished. He continued to ask me personal questions about her that I refused to answer. Upon learning this info, I googled the firm in question,  and there is a similar firm located in California with very different contact information than what I was given. I confronted Charles with this information and he continued to try and convince me that he worked for this firm,  so I called the firm, and behold, They didn't have a charles that worked for them. If this number calls you, it is a total scam. They will try to scare you with legal action,  but it is nothing more than a ruse to get your money.

Well known criminal outfit around here. Notify the FTC,cfpb, you State attorney general and the California state attorney general.

Voice mail left on my cell stating that it was important to return the call. Stated that my number was left a reference number for someone that I don't even know (we happen to have the same last name), provided a case number and a toll free number to call back stated they were going to be taking legal action if the person that I don't know didn't call them back.

My ex husband got a call from this number asking if he knew me he got the ref number and gave it to me.  I called and they said I had an outstanding debt from 2008 and they were going to file with the court next week if not resolved.  Funny because I just filed bankruptcy this year and no credit card from First Community National Bank was ever on my credit report, I never opened a card with that bank.  Has to be a scam!  I mean if they are going to take me to court wouldn't they have tried to collect before now and wouldn't it be on my report? SCAM!!!!

Received a call they claim to be Edmonds and associates  with Ref# and they referred to my county courts they claim they have sent info and I have not responded I never receive anything filed bankrupcy last year nothing on my repost any longer I referred them to my lawyer

Received a call from this number. VM said they were from DirectTV.  I don’t have a account with them

Called for someone I don't know about a debt and court date tried to scare me into given them information but I knew it was a scam told him to kick rocks and hung up he called back again so i just listen took info and reported him

So now they are saying “ Hello this is Michelle from lawsuit winning calling in regards to pre-settlement legal funding if you're ready to discuss this call us back at this number if you'd like to opt out from receiving these calls please let us know by calling 888-481-3096…”  number came from Baton Rouge, LA. # 225-407-0709 called from giving out the 888#
