🚫 Do not call these scammers back. Claims to be Belman Legal and will try anything to to fool you to get your personal info especially your SSN legal action threats. They'll call from local spoofed numbers. They cannot be found online as a legitimate business. It's the same tactic many scammers are doing, just changing the name and using common business names [or ruining an established business' reputation], spoofing phone numbers.

Thy were very vulgar, thy claimed I had a loan an they were coming to my home a I should have my ID ready to sign legal documents to prevent from going to court I never took out a loan an this was bad in May 3 2019 as thy say they called their selves bailman legal services they cussed me out an Hung up in my face an even called my husband's phone they had my social security number an 2 know address where I previously lived

They called from 888-481-1176 and left message saying legal group has been retained regarding a legal claim that is being filed against me and they need a statement. Then left this phone number to call back.  1-844-977-0279   I did not pick up the phone call.  Deleting the message. What losers.

Reported these scamming phantom debt collectors that are impersonating as legal services with  their numbers and voicemails to the FTC and FCC for harrassment.

This fictitious Bellman Legal is not legit. If its Bellman & Sterns, they are in Tampa Florida according to Google and the interesting part is they do not have a debt collection license in Florida, and the other red flag is that there's no suite number listed for the supposed address unlike the other businesses there. Their website looks like something a 3rd grader can do on Wix.

The other Bellman Legal is in Australia.

This is why they are Phantom Debt Collectors. They bully you with scare tactics  to get your info and money then disappear. They won't mail you any debt validation letters because they can't validate it, and don't want their address traced. Legit debt collectors will communicate first by mail. Process servers never call you ahead and I know one.

call shows up as unknown- says coming to an address- at a specific date/time- BUT never says who they are.  State to call their number as they want to make sure I know what it is regarding... No debt collector or process server calls you ahead to forewarn you that they are coming... Main thing is - never states the name of their business

Call showed up private number on the 7th and today was a phone number spoofed from a town a good distance from me. They leave a message to call back to 1-888-481-1806 and give a court case number(fake case # because it does not follow case # form for this county) Echoing what anonymous said on July 5th, State to call their number as they want to make sure I know what it is regarding... No debt collector or process server calls you ahead to forewarn you that they are coming... Main thing is - never states the name of their business. My 73 Y.O father even looked up these spammers.

August 3, 2023 I received a call from 945-215-0268. I answered, briefly spoke with a woman advising me that I had a pending claim against me and to call 888-481-1168. I received another call, I didn't answer. I was left a voicemail, stating that they had my place of employment address on file and two other know address to which they will serve me at if I don't reach out to them. Of course I googled the number and the suppose Legal office only came up with this page. Does anyone know how these people are getting your information?
