"Marty Elam" (spelling??) called and asked to call him back. It is a collection agency? I don't want to call before I know who this is... Help?

Martin "Marty" Elam works for Academy Collections (ACS), and also calls from 877-943-2785.

Academy Collections calls for Rosie Odami (sp?) on nights and weekends to a business line for an accountant at a Utility in Reno, NV.  The message states "This is a call for Rosie Odami.  If you are not this person please hang up.  Otherswise if you continue to listen you agree (or admit) that you are Rosie Odami".  This is an endless Loop for the following reason.  If a recorded message calls a business phone after hours and weekends, then it will get a recording.  There is no hanging up therefore the Agency thinks the business line is Rosie Odami.  Rather inefficient, don't you think?  Then, when the accountant tries to call back out of frustation, no one answers the number given.  What a waste of time and energy, no pun intended.

I work for a company and this # has called several times asking to speak to somebody in HR. This gina odel didn't want to leave a number, I got it from our caller ID.... Can anybody stop these calls??

This number has been calling my cell phone for months.  When I answer, all I ever hear is "Please hold while we find someone to assist you.  I resent some unseen unknown entity spending my cell phone minutes on calls I neither solicit nor desire.

Somebody named Andrew calls asking for an Elena. I am so fed up. I just reported them to the Do Not Call Registry. I told them on several occasions that I do not know nor am I Elena. They are using all my damn minutes and leave [***] messages. If they really are a real collection agency they must realize that these debtors can give false numbers, right? FAK!

Yes they call EVERY HOUR for someone else. So tired of these calls. I ma not her!!

I went to file a complaint on the do not call list, & could not. Aparently this number was just listed at the beginning of July so the company has 30 days to call before you can put a complaint in. That must be why they keep changing their number.  They also call my house asking for someone I never heard or and I have had this number for over 5 years.

Calls me everyday since last year. Stop f@#$ing calling me. I do not know any nomawhata. Uses fraud names just to sell my phone number to other collection agency.

These people called my mother looking for my ex saying he used her as a reference. And when she ask what the reference was for he  wouldn't say. One thing is he hates my mother there is just no way he'd use her for anything. The man wouldn't say why he wanted him either said it was about some letter.....Really just the worst calling someone's ex-girlfriend mother geez.
