It's Fido customer service phone number.

Got that number on my credit card bill. Had no idea who the biller was till I read this. Why the blazes couldn't they just write Fido!!

On my Amex statement
I was charged $ 15.29 on December 11 2009.
I was charged $ 26.74 on January 10 2010.
Both Times it appeared as 888-481-3436 ON
I do not know who this number belongs to!
I'm going to notify Amex this is a fraud.

It showed up on our AMEX too.... for some reason they printed "888-481-3426" instead of "Fido" like they normally do for the vendor name.

We got scammed in May for this. I just realized it in Aug. They called saying  from FIDO and that authorized payment did not come through. they recorded info again. On visa bill statement showed up like regular FIDO statement so I did not realize it was from different account. There were no other additional expenses so the card did not look like it was stolen and used excessively by someone. In fact I do not see anything out of the ordinary.

I should have known better than respond on such phone  call with personal info...

While searching about a number for a market research program (scam!), I found this number listed as an alternate number that somebody else was told to call (same scam). The radio ad said participants would receive $1000 in gift cards for certain stores to purchase groceries. On the phone they promised $1000 in shopping money and $100 in WalMart gift cards. What I received was $1000 in coupons for products that I never use and don't need and links to pages where I can print out request forms for two $25 gift cards. I was charged about $26 for the whole thing... so far.

The related numbers I have found are 1.888.438.4313, 207.937.4801, and 1-888-481-4779.

I talked to a Cory at - -888-481-4779 - he was very helpful and cancled my membership.

Two weeks I received a call from this number & at the time I was not feel well. They gave me all the promises like other & said my account would not be charged until I gave the ok.  yes I gave them my card, but I knew there was a hold on the account. They call back a week later asking for another card, I told them no & replied what they said to me back two weeks ago(that no charges were no going to be taken out). they said it was to check the account. When they said that I knew it was a fraud & told them to cancel any future attempts. Today I found to not one but two charges to my account which over drafted my account" one for $3.00 & another for $55.00. Now I have call them Monday & go to my bank to ex plane how stupid I was.

Apparently, it was Fido.  However, when I answered, just dead air.  You would think that a telephone company would have better connections.

Yes it is, nothing more and nothing less.

I didn't answer this call, as I do with any 800 number. Or at least until I check it out.
I do not doubt that it is from Fido. They have been trying to contact me about a complaint about texts they were sending me. That issue was resolved, but the calls continue.
I have 3 (soon to be 4) numbers flagged on my phone as "FIDO SCAM ##". I stopped answering these calls because of dead air when I do.
I guess Fido is going down the same slippery path of Rogers. I feared this when Fido got bought out. Oh well. I'm off to add another number to my phone...

I just got a call from this number and they claimed to be from Fido. I have never had anything but very polite conversations any time I talk with Fido, but the lady on the phone was very abrupt. I was in a park with a lot of children and couldn't hear her well. When I asked to repeat she got agitated. I questioned whether she was really calling from Fido and she assured me that she was. I questioned her some more and she eventually hung up.

I was apparently in line for 30% savings on my bill, but like I said I couldn't hear her clearly so I'm not sure.

Posted a $115 bill on my M/C. Listed as Fido *refill 438X37
Since I don't have a Fido account, red flag!

This is the fido number, but apparently it is being spoofed now by scammers. I called their actual customer service and they recommended using in person service in future.

Called 8 times throughout the day on a Saturday. I have a call blocker so nothing got through. I'm with chatr, not Fido, not sure why they're desperate to talk with me.

Scam False Chinese Ascent, scammers wanting information about you. Block and report and they will lose.
