They only identified  themselves as people that contacts people.  They claimed that they attempted to deliver documents to an address that was not my address couldn't tell me who they were from.

kept getting calls for the past week finally answered today said they have documents to get to me.

It's a debt collector.

It's a debt collector they're verifying information using misleading practices.

Got a call saying they been trying to deliver some documents needing my signature and i needed to contact the sender gave me an 800 # and reference asked if i was expecting any documents i told her no. Now that i know it's a debit collector im not goung to bother. I filed bankruptcy 3 yrs ago so my debit is wiped out and only debit i have is my student loans and those are current. So they can keep whatever papers they have.

It is a PHONY debt collection scam. Be very clear about that.

This is a debt scammer. Remember, a phone call is not legal notice of a debt. There are no papers to be sent. Ignore the calls, do not call back. Block the number.

They are scam artists trying to find people to pay past debts that don't exist anymore or didn't exist at all

Received text message to call 888-485-0329 with file #  explaining I defaulted payment to citi line of credit - I’ve never applied for a line of credit in my life now they’re stating I will get documents served you me to go to court because the financial institution is suing me

I told ‘Catherine James’ I didn’t know the person she was trying to get in contact with-I told her to try another contact number and to stop calling my number.

I believe they were trying to call me directly, but I don't answer unknown phone numbers. Now they are calling my mother and mother-in-law looking for me. I never received any official documentations from anyone, but they are claiming they are from a law office regarding a civil case against me. They will not tell my mother any more details. I filed bankruptcy a year ago and I have no current debts. I contacted my state's website to see if there is any court actions against me. There are zero legal cases against me. These people are SCAM!

Your bankruptcy attorney should be handling this.  That is what you paid him/her for.

They keep calling and texting. They even called my daughter.  Definitely a scam. I don't owe any money to anyone.  Not expecting a delivery except from whom I want a delivery from!
