We just received a call from Pat today. Again, I can confirm it's nothing but scam. People like this who won't give a message or any info but expect you to tell them all kinds of sensitive information should just be hung up on.

Pat Bishop called asked for the owner, I replied "He isn't in, may I help you?" to which she states it's a personal matter she she needs to speak with owner. Second call I've gotten from her, so I asked what the matter was. Dana needs to speak with owner please have him call Dana and pat needs to speak to owner. I explained we don't need her services, she was relentless. "I need to speak to owner" I told her "NO YOU DON"T" and again i told her we don't need your services. Dang, people get a grip and get out of my ear!!!!

That lovely woman "Pat Bishop" called again today 5 times. I think that is harassment. Well, she won't get to the owner and she won't get any information and she certainly won't be called back.

Integrity Financial Associates and similar companies secure information from Federal Tax Liens filed as public record, for taxpayers who owe money to IRS, (or from State Tax Liens for money owed on State Taxes). The liens have business names (or individual taxpayer names), addresses, and tax owed.  These companies may then do additional research for contact information and try to sell their services as representation with the IRS and/ or state agencies.  These companies are highly unreputable.

Same as all of the above. they called anonymous and said they wanted to speak with the Owner. I asked if he wanted to leave a message and he said it was for 941 assessment. If that was the case the IRS would send us a letter. What idiots.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.  If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file complaints with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
