Received a call from 888-492-5455 on 10/30/2014 at 5:25 PM, CNAM read as "Toll Free Calle." While others report it is Bank of America calling to solicit or verify information regarding their mortgage refinance, I do not have a home mortgage and have no relationship whatsoever with BofA. It seems highly suspicious to me that any financial institution would block their name ID if calling on legitimate business.

Well I am not refinancing and this number called my business, they went straight into voicemail and left no message.  No thank you spammers. 888-492-5455.

This CANNOT be a legitimate number.  They called me today on my cell phone, which is not a number I use for financial business.  I do not have a mortgage with BOA, nor am I seeking a refinance with them or with anyone else right now.  They're either telemarketing, trying to drum up business in the worst way possible (cold calling for refis?  Who on earth would do this?), or they're thieves and scammers trying to get your info.  Either way, it's not legit.
Oh, and they left no message.  Another clear sign it's telemarketing scum.

they  called me to verify the employment of a person, when I said, I don't know such person, they hung up, I called back they answered as the law offices.

Called and left no message. I am not a home owner and do not use BoA and never have. They would have no reason to call me. Sounds fishy. Probably a scam.

called me twice within 2 minutes....robo calling at its best...even if it is boa, they should have the info in their office already from paperwork you have already completed. they would not need to verify with you the info you gave since they have access to sources of verification for that purpose.....

Got a call from this number. CID said toll free caller. I was letting it go to answer machine when my wife picked it up when they said Bank of America. Caller said it was from loan department and they needed to verify some information and started to ask for personal information. First off, we don't have a loan with them. I then told her we never give out personal information to anyone calling. She said she had sent us an email and that she had her direct line information with BOA in the email and we can call that number. We have not received any email from BOA.
