called and hung up - listed as unavalable on caller id

Person left message on voicemail that they were from the US Census.  Gave a case # to refer to.  Person identified himself as Harold Wills.  Did not call him back.  He was identified on caller id as unknown caller.

Called at 12:33 10/3/07, called at 5:06 10/4/07. No messages left.

Called every half hour for two hours. Just hung up when I answered and didn't leave a message when I didn't answer.

got couple of calls and last one was  on 9/4/08 at 1:48 PM CST.
They never say a word and I usually give up and hang up at the end.

866-411-2310,888-211-4556,850-453-9489,888-493-3943,561-784-9844  these numbers will ask for my husband.  When I say he is not available, they hang up.  Tired of these calls. What happened to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, that I registered our number on???  Where do they get our numbers?

Calls everyday and hangsup. Sometimes 2 or three times a day.  Very annoying.

Calls every night around 6:30 we do not answer it.

Called and asked for my Girlfriend's name when I said she was not here and asked if I could take a message the man who Identified himself as Alex got dismissive and did not reply then hung up.

This number called me on 8/7/09.  Man identified himself as Tony Russeau and acted like he knew me from high school but I didn't go to the high school he told me he went to.  He then told me he lived in the city where I live and wanted to know whereabouts in the city I live.  I didn't answer.  Then he asked me if I had kids.  I then asked what the call was about, he claimed to be promoting magazines but wouldn't specify which one, just said "like the kind you find in a Dominick's or Jewel".  I told him I didn't want any magazines and he hung up.  I believe this is a scam for information for identity theft or a really bad telemarketer.

I get a call about 3 times a day, doesn't matter if I pick up on the 1st ring or the 4th, there is still no one there...

calls and hangs up. can't have this in my home for handicap reasons and will file suit if this does not stop for harassment

Answered call from 888-493-3943. No one said anything, just silence.

This number calls several times a day and never leaves a message.  If we answer the phone no on speaks, just silence then a hang up.  I've attempted to call back and find out who it is and the phone just rings and rings.  Very irritating and makes no sense... if it's a sales call then why aren't they actually attempting to sell something when we do answer?

same as happyvalley girl...get calls same time of day every day..it seems like they want to leave messages on answering machine...they hang up when they here a human...will research this and see if there is a way to shut the number down..

getting the exact same problme with the calls as the previous statements, it is getting tiresome

Still no caller ID on their end.

No info on Google, other than this.

My ringer is off anyway, I only use the phone for out-going calls.

This number keeps on calling my house phone and it is driving me crazy! I get at least two calls a day. We've only had this number for two weeks and somehow they got it. Every time I try to answer it just hangs up and if I call it back it rings forever and does not get anywhere. I hate this number...
