I just bought a new computer and set it up yesterday.  As I tried to go to a site I visit all the time, I got a loud noise (beep) over and over again and it said I had a "virus crash" and I should not do anything until I called this number.  I called the number, although I was leery.  They said their number was "built into my system to help" in times such as these and they would fix everything.  My immediate thought was "sure you will!"  I could barely understand the guy - foreign accent that was quite heavy.

I had the same experience, thought it was legit until they told me I would get charged $300. Changed all my pass words just to be safe.

I had the same experience. I just want to know the virus crash is real or just a scam
