I got a message from this number.  It is from Perfect Tortilla, the ones where you make a tortilla bowl out of a tortilla without having to deep fry.  Its a mold to form the shape of a bowl.  Not sure if you ordered one Julia, but that's what I did.  Reason they called me is due to a problem with the payment that I used.  Called them back to get a discounted rate since it was an error on their part it seems.

(I put it as a telemarketer only cause its the same category as Informercial but doesnt have the selection)

My call identified themselved as Side Socket. The message stated I had an incomplete sale request. I didn't request one but do remember seeing the As Seen on TV ad for them.

Called me on my work phone. Said it was "Cats Meow," and there was a problem with the processing on my last order. However, if I called them, a customer service rep would be glad to help VERIFY MY INFORMATION.
Definitely a scam.

Called me on my Cell phone, this is from "As Seen On TV" type of item. I ordered a "Mini Max" and supposedly they want multiple payments to charge my card but I wont allow them.

Didn't get a phone call, but rather a letter that reported a problem with my payment and asking me to call the above number. A little sleuthing revealed that the "company" (Merchandise Direct) has all the trappings of a fictitious enterprise. Even the address on the letterhead was fraudulent. The fact that they had some valid information concerning a purchase I made from a television advert has taught me never to again use that method of purchase, though the fact that I went through my PayPal account helped me in this instance.
