Said is was Mark Wallace from some type of recovery service.

They are calling me saying i owe $1500 but they don't have the name of the company I owe.  They do not have a website, a mailing address or any other information other than they will contact my HR dept to garnish my payroll.  They are supposedly a mediation firm collecting for another firm who they are unable to give me the name of.  She said they would give me the proof if i paid the account in full today. I was transferred to a Tandra Collins supervisor and she said i need to get myself a lawyer and good luck and hung up on me when i said i would not be paying today!

Good call. You win. They can't sue you. They are illegal debt collectors using fear tactics to prey on consumers. No reason to go back and forth with these dirty debt collectors. Tell then you're never paying them and it'll get under their skin to know that they failed to scare you enough.

You can sue them, too. Save recordings and do some research. They'll see this post and change phone numbers, but people can help you locate them and get paid.
