Saw the # on my caller ID (no message) and called it back (with my number blocked, of course).  Got a recording by a guy with a southern accent who said his name was "Ken" - no last name.  This one is so blatantly a scam that it's actually funny!!  He goes into a pitch about making fast money, that it's not a job or MLM but that you can get rich from the comfort of your home in just days!  Then comes the good part - he says you will need money to start - about $4000 - and if you don't have that kind of cash lying around, guess what?  YOU CAN USE A CREDIT CARD!!!  All you have to do is leave your name and number at the beep and he'll call you back to get you started on making all that easy money!!!

Seriously... this is insane.  I'm surprised to see this hasn't been reported more often, although since he doesn't leave a message maybe people don't bother to call back the numbers on their Caller ID.  Whoever this is needs to be shut down and soon.  By the way, I'm on the Do Not Call list... so much for that.

We have only had this number for like two weeks and allready this guy has called. How do these people get our numbers.

I too am on the Do Not Call Registry and I got the exact same call as was posted by SWEET on May 5 2007.

Several calls, no messages, in recent weeks.  Twice today alone.  I found the number associated with a classified ad in "Hoosier" (dated 7/7/2005), attached to the web address "www.cash101.us".  That URL is registered to Registrant (who REALLY needs to learn the meaning of "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY") (also, continue to read notes after the contact info!):

So, even though this is a Los Angeles, CA, US mailing address, the listed telephone number is actually associated with a Brampton, Ontario, Canada telephone (the US government, incidentally, has seen fit to make it illegal to issue .us domains outside the US).

That Brampton, Ontario phone number, further, is associated with:

(this could be but does not appear proprietary, but rather a source describing the underlying entity).  This site contains a further link to a company name that matches the prefix of the hotmail address registered (Synthetic Rhyme), which then brings up a website for a television or movie production (Giovanni di Mexicali), which appears to have played at BLOOR  506 Bloor W, Ontario, on Friday, May 6, 2005.

That's about 10 or 15 minutes of research.  Much, much more is available in tracking this illegal spam caller.

Called again - this time I picked up.  Recorded sales pitch of some sort initiated right after I picked up.  No real live person, meaning no option to stop the pitch and demand removal from their solicitations.

Keep receiving calls from this number.  Caller ID shows it as "Unknown Name".  Never leaves a message and I never pick up the call when this number shows up.

This number flashed across my phone screen but caller did not leave a message.  Looked up the number on google and brought me to this site.

Just got a call from the Southern Guy make $1000 a day by just returning calls.  Pisses me off.  I would vote for killing all spammers.

Same number, same drill, today!  I'm looking for a way, a website, or something, where I can input HIS number, and let a machine continuously call him and tie it up.  Any ideas?

I received the same call today from this number. Same dumb @#$ named Ken. I hung up after about 5 words. I knew it was a scam. I am also on the National Do Not Call Registry. Can't we do anythimg right these days? If I ever find one of these guys...

Looked up this guy's phone number of 573-346-2080 and got the following information:

Ken is part of an organization of nearly 600 Financial Freedom groups around the Country. It is obviously an attempt to find some people with money to blow. I might suggest that if this number appears again, jot it down, contact either your State Attorney General's Office, the State Public Utilities Regulators or the Federal Trade Commission.  These auto dialers or telemarketers are governed by the Federal and State No-Call.  It is not wise to leave your number.  Even if you "block" it using *67, with the 800 number services, they can still pick up your phone number, although I doubt seriously they want to go through the trouble, esp. if you state you are filing a complaint against them.

Caller won't leave a message. Same old Ken, though.
