automated message from 'Cathy Jackson saying that we paid for microsoft services and they want to give us a refund because they were ordered to because they are shutting down...never said who 'they' were.

Just another foreign dirt bag criminal trying to get info so they can rip you off. I believe it was the old microsoft scam.

Called at 2:44, but don't answer any 1-800 calls. No message left. You have to identify yourself
on my phone or it won't ring. Just lights up. So you know it a scam. Use to get 13-17 calls a day! But since I got this phone it's way down to 2-3. No one responds!! Love that it won't ring too, no
more running to answer.

So kind of them to want to refund me money! NOT!!
Unfortunately, this is phone-life these days. I guess scammers like this have continued to find victims, otherwise, they'd stop doing it since it wouldn't be worth their while. Stay vigilant!! If you get a call that sounds the least bit weird, or "off", it probably is!!
