Confirming information from Bob, I got a call too. Just load the # in your contacts, and when calls come in from those numbers the display will say whatever you called it.

Calling me at workplace?? Crossing the line, can I do anything to cease?

this women called my husbands cell phone asking for me I called the number back and the woman said I owe her client money and was pushing me to give her my address and asked if I live on Duncan I use to years ago I said yes tho and she said no you don't I said good luck finding me very creppy  but this determined women called my mom to with this number 647 428 9816 and this is a Toronto number weird I don't ever give cell numbers out not even mine

This women called me from this number trying to get a hold of my neighbor! After finding this I realized they're debt collectors and called them back telling them to not involve me as it was wrong for me to even know my neighbor owed someone money. She said "oh they don't owe money this is good news for them" yeah right, I told her to leave me alone!

Veritas Alliance...claiming to me 'auditing' my account. They can go F*** themselves.

Received a message in my voice mail from a woman who said her name was Carrie Gallagher and she wants me to call her at this number and refer to a case number she provided... Quite obviously a debt collector.

Got a call from 514-400-3293 and was told to call this 1-888 number back.. I'm not because any thing I owe is being handled by debt  consolidation, and these scams can go somewhere else.

Absolutely the rudest people you will ever speak with. They pressure you by telling you false information. They should not be in business; they have broken the law with their calling practices.

YES! call consumer protection Canada. they will walk you through the form that you need to fill out: you need to give them in writing to stop calling you. You can also document their behaviour and file a complaint.

I got a call from them asking for someone I've never heard of....5 times over the past few months.  I finally told them to stop calling and delete my number from their database.  Incidentally, I notice a lot of people complaining about debt collectors in general on this forum.  It's one thing to be harrassed by them for something you have nothing to do with...but to be anonymously indignant over a legitimate debt you reneged on is pathetic.

This guy calling my husband on behalf of TD Canada Trust using harassment, intimidation tactics and threatening language. My husband lost his mother and fell behind on several accounts. Everyone was understanding of this, including Home Depot, BMO, etc. Everyone except this [***] from TD Canada Trust. I am reporting him here and everywhere.

Keep getting harassing calls from 'Nelson' at Veritas Alliance in ON. I have an outstanding debt with TD bank from 7 years ago. Unable to pay it, i have notified him the amount is too large for me to work with right now. keeps calling. he will call 3 times in one day using assertive, strong words, and even asked me "why would you let this debt go on for so long?" like his job is something other than a collector. very rude.

I sold a previously owned property to pay off all of my debts after being off work due to an accident and separating from my ex.  I rent a basement apartment so that I can pay all of my bills and keep my expenses as low as possible. I have nothing outstanding and received a call from 647-428-9816 with message to call the 1-888-502-6965 number about a financial matter.  I do not need this hassle for something that I worked very hard to pay back.  Important to block this number.

Called my house looking for a foreign person with a name I can’t even pronounce. I’m blocking this number.

They keep calling but I have no debts, nor any outstanding.  They insist I do.  I checked all my credit bureaus, and nothing is listed, and the company they mention I never dealt with.  Same debt gets passed to other collection agencies when they do not get anything from me.  I do not know how to get these people to stop they do not listen or care. Have sent a lawyers letter now to three companies and they still sell this debt to another.  Getting very annoyed.
