private number called said needed to serve papers on an employee. left this number. called back with no answer or machine. Glad I checked the net

A woman with a heavy Asian accent calls me asked for me by name then tells me my social # then tells me a case # and gives me a phone number to call for information end call by say I have been served. When I call the number a man answered says a business name , speaks English puts me on hold for about 5 minutes then says that papers have been released for delivery by 4:00pm and I have a court date in a month.

Got a voice mail - said they had a court summons and for me to call this number. I spoke with a really nasty man who had personal information on me. Said if I did not make payment on a credit card debt, I would be prosecuted, possibly for "fraud". I asked for the credit card company's phone number and he gave me a bogus one. I immediately called my local court clerk and they said there was no record of a pending case against me...

Is it possible that the timing of these calls has something to do with the current distribution of stimulus checks??
