Got a call from a gentlemen (no name provided) who stated he was calling to alert me of pending delivery of court papers.  Stated he would try to acquire my signature at my home on Thursday and then my place of business if he could not reach me.  He stated he required my signature for delivery and that, again, the papers were a court summons.  He did not state anything else regarding the nature of the papers or the company he worked for.  He did provide me a "case number" and advised I refer to it "if" I called him back.  

When I Googled the number, it found this thread (obviously new), as well as SEVERAL listings for a Lattimer Mines Florist/delivery service.  It also found one more florist's number.  

Due to the above information, I did not call them back.  I have been managing my world pretty tightly and cleaning up all old debt, etcetera, and I do NOT get into any trouble (not in over 20 years) so this can only be a scam.  

If you get called, please post your information here.  I may purchase a call recording software for my phone and call them back.  Then, turn the information over to the local D.A. office.  Last time I answered a call like this, it was a scam and when reported, it was requested that a police report be made and information supplied to the local D.A. office.

I have received multiple phone calls from a man who claims to be "Robert Freeman" and he is trying to tell me that if I don't verify that I am who he says I am, that he will have to forward my information to the corresponding parties as a "refusal to sign". He claims that he will be at my residence at 2pm today Thursday July 19th.

It's my understanding that if I have legal documents to be served to me, it's courtesy that your local court office send a card in the mail asking for the said "receiver" of such documents to present themselves to the court or otherwise expect a local Deputy or Sheriff at your doorstep with such "documents". It is also against my privacy rights for someone to call and proclaim that they have certain legal documents that they threaten to serve to me personally unless previously notified with legal documentation that I will be served the following documents.

Robert Freeman leaves a message after every call not answered, threatening to be at my residence with legal documents. And if I refuse to be present at the time of his arrival, he will come to my place of employment. He leaves a phone number of the responsible party that will take action if i refuse to comply. That number is 1-888-507-6174. He also leaves a message of such "case" with the number that corresponds to my "file".

After having called the number with my work phone, it's a machine that answers first for "Westpoint Associates" and then "connects you" to the correct dept by pressing the required button for which your previous caller had left a message about.

we are also being harrassed by someone from westpoint associates, threatening to come to our home or business to serve papers..who the heck are they

They have called me several times with the same threat of court papers I'm just hoping that they show up because someone will need law enforcement and some type of court papers will ensue,guaranteed, I personally will see to that and they will discover that they have chosen  the wrong guy to mess with it. and these days and times 1 must protect his home and when a stranger shows to my home with bad intentions I will fix that problem and with full force and we will let the courts clean that up. I am so much looking forward to this meeting with these people who are harrassing me. if they do appear at my residence I will consider them a harmful threat tp me and my family and act accordingly.

Please file a complaint with the BBB. The more complaints, the better to file a class action suit against this company. THEY MUST BE STOP.

I owe a debt with plain green and Tried to plain once I got a new job. they sold the loan to many different creditors and I dont Know who to trust. I got on a payment plan with west point associates but Im kind of leary about paying them I gave them 200dollars so far but and is suppose to be paying 50 dollars a week what should I do?? I wanna pay this debt but I dont wanna get scammed
