This is TXU Energy's cash back rewared program. A computer voice left a message that my cashback reward is on its way.

I received a call from this number today. It was TXU letting me know that my cash-back reward was on its way (even though I received it a couple of days ago!).

TXU is one of the electricity providers in Texas.  I get these annoying calls to my work extension, and I am not even a TXU customer.  This company is a shameless spammer and has the worst customer complaint rating of all the electric companies in Texas.  Just look at the number of complaints about this company on www.powertochoose.org    It's really incredible; who in their right mind would want a pre-paid Visa card from their sleezy electric company.  They are famous here (or infamous rather) for switching people to their electric service without their permission.   Dear TXU - you may as well stop calling me about your idiotic pre-paid Visa card, because you will never, ever, have me as a customer.

TXU is not spamming, it is real.  Texans with TXU get a cash back card every year for being loyal customers.  They're just letting you know that it's on it's way.  The call may come a bit late because I received my call today but, received my card yesterday.

"Nether"  You are full of it and you know what this TEXAN means!!  TXU only calls their customers as to the rebate after you pay your damn bill for a freaky YEAR!!  If you live in Texas and I hope you don't,
check out the other companies that are going out of business!!

I don't know about being the worst, or their rating; all I know is that since I switched to TXU my bills have been way lower than Reliant, my previous electr. provider. Plus I am getting this little cash back, Sir, I don't know why infamous. I wonder anout who you are using.

I recieved my Rewards Card before the call, and really its no big deal. Just happy to see a company give a little back. For the people who are quick to bash TXU and say go with another company and that you pay less....well my bill has always been lower than others that I know who are not with TXU and may have switched back in the end. I would also like to say that when the harsh weather hits or our big Texas sorms roll in....all of us TXU customers know will be taken care of right away, while we can look across the street or hear in the news the calls complaining about how their electric company has a voice recording and they have been with out power for hours or even days!   - I don't they are higher, but for those of you who do...look at this way MAYBE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR :)

Received call today at 10am. No message left, but I am with TXU and did receive my cash back card a couple of days ago.

I'm getting so sick of these spam callers. I am NOT a customer nor do I have a relationship with this company. At all. They don't even leave a message, they just call and hang up. Obnoxious people.

No one says anything, no message, just dead air. Glad to know who it is, tho.

As for the negative post. I have used TXU for many many years. Excellent in every Department. Even the cash back program.
If you are advertising Reliant on this post and bashing TXU, it should be taken off.
I have never received spam from TXU, and they have all my 4 phone numbers.

I am a TXU "SATISFIED" customer and have been for over 20 years.  I would never go with another company.  I have friends who have gone with other companies, their bill would be lower for one month then skyrocket.  They have always gone back to TXU.  I am not on the cash back program because I don't use enough electricity for it but I do have a program that has a low rate.  My last electic bill was only $45.75.  Now I call that a small amount for the electricity I use!!!!  Every time I have called TXU, I have gotten a very courteous, professional person who was able to help me to know what was the best program for me for the amount of electricity I use.  I only call them about once a year to renew or change my program.  I don't have any reason to call them more than that!!! My service has always been the best!!

I totally disagree.  I have been a TXU customer for many years, and the only problem I have had is with their repair service (Oncor) that doesn't seem to understand how my street is powered.  Five of the homes on the street get power from a line that comes over from an industrial area, and they don't seem to understand that.  But since they installed smart meters this has not been a problem.  I quite enjoy their $75 cards I get each year.

I use StarTex.  Lower rates than TXU.  Have been with them for 4 years.  I don't appreciate TXU spam telemarketing calls.

TXU energy cash back program. Calling to let me know when I can expect my cash back rewards card. I was beginning to wonder about that.

Received a voicemail letting me know that my Cash Back reward will be coming soon.  Received it yesterday.
