- Bill H| 1 replyReturned msg which sounded like a legit BOA call center. She asked too many questions and I stupidly revealed my SSN and CC number. I asked for mgr when asked for my credit limit, and I hung up when placed on hold. A call to the number on my BOA bill revealed that they are NOT part of BOA
- Caller: They say Bank of America
- Bill H replies to Bill HI have to recant. After another call to BOA to the fraud dept, I did find that this was a division of their collections dept. afterall.
- Liz W.These idiots keep calling and leaving automated voicemails about trying to collect a debt from "Jessie Moore". I have called several times to tell them that there's no one named "Jessie Moore" at my number, and they always say they'll remove my number from the records. Two years later they're still calling me looking for Jessie Moore. Morons.
- Call type: Debt collector
- SteveSimilar encounter as the other threads. They called saying that had an important BofA servicing issue. I called them back. I asked what the call was about. They kept asking for more information. Then ask if I had a personal credit that is not a BofA card with me. I started asking "what is this call about?". She kept saying "it's a servicing matter." I asked again "What specifically is this about?" She would not tell me. I said since you will tell me what this is about I'm hanging up.Then I hung up. It all sounded very professional but I think it was a fraud call.
