i am thinking this 888-514-5038 is from the same as the 888-742-6386 that keeps calling me. Picture This, the Wal-mart portrait studios that everyone is complaining about. if you google that number, all kinds of sites show up. They both keep calling me all day. I had won a free portrait at wal-marts about a month ago.

I didn't answer in time. When I tried to return the call, A voice mail played stating that the extension was busy. No company name or person's name was stated.

I turned and started calling them. I call every other five minutes. I leave my name and phone number. Explaining to them: "Please remove my name from the list. I have already reported this number. "

888-514-5038 is a scam. If you look it up in a public source, it does not exist. If you look it up in a pay for use source ,they say they have it ,for a charge. Its a way to get people to use their services. Im sure they collect a lot of money using this scam.

I am having the exact same experience

This number calls and when answered its dead air

It's a collection agency.  Either Allied Interstate or Plaza Associates.  They also use 877.375.6990, 866.233.0397, 877.375.6990 and 800.337.1836.  They won't tell you who they are if you do get someone to answer.  Very rude in my experience.  Go to alliedinterstate.com and contact them via email to stop calling you.  In my case they responded that they will put my number on their do not call list because I am not the person they are looking for.  My cell phone number was used on someone else's (bad) credit application.
