I received a call from the above number several times. When I answer the phone no one speaks. It's just dead silence, but you know they haven't hung up. I've been leaving the phone off the hook to maybe drive up charges on there number.

Mine sounded like a predictive dialer that never hands off the call. The line only stayed active for 15 secs or so.

Get calls twice or more a week.  I live in PA and have cell phone on DO NOT CALL Registry and will submit complaint to State

We have received several calls from this number in the last two weeks several times a day.  We tried calling the number back and get a recording that the number is not in service.  How can this be when they just called us?  Something needs to be done to put these people out of service permanently from harassing people.

I recieved several calls from this number also. I could hear someone shuffling papers or something but no one spoke. I did learn a trick from TV, when you get these calls, keep hitting the star key and it messes up their computer dialing. You may get a few calls, but after 3 or 4 times, it stops. Just keep hitting the STAR key.

called me in October, no one would talk.  I placed the call on my call screening list so it will no longer ring in...too bad I'm limited to 12 such numbers.
Generally when they don't talk they are attempting to pick up information such as the approx age of you or a first name or nick name...anything they hear that might be useful to them in the future.
