- D. Pipkins| 3 repliesDid some major research. This number is debt collectors claiming to be law firm with case against you. In most cases debt is past statue of limitations to collect depending on state. Don't answer, hang up. They are lying and breaking the law. They have been reported to FCC more than once. Hopefully will be shut down with new laws being passed on debt collection and limitations.

- D. Pipkins replies to D. Pipkins| 1 replyThey are based out of Florida.
- Kat* replies to BobOh, good! If you're going to report them, you must have their legal name and business address so please share it with us.
- BigA replies to D. PipkinsLooks like you either didn't know how to do "major research" or you couldn't figure out what you were reading. Â First there is no "statue" of limitations and I will prove that at the end of this post.
That would be a shame because the FCC has absolutely no jurisdiction over debt collectors or calls from them.Quote:They have been reported to FCC more than once
Nothing wrong with the existing laws. Â Maybe you think that laws stop crime? Â If so can you point out one law that has stopped crime?Quote:new laws being passed on debt collection and limitations.
First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file complaints with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
