Received a call in our absence, which left no message.

This is a collection agency, usually a buttnut named Mike calls on his cell with an Indianapolis number wanting you to call it and then he gets harrassing and abusive

I have had several calls from this number as well, again, if you want me to answer identify yourself on the caller ID or leave a message, otherwise you can call until the cows come home and I will never answer.

this guy called me being a huge [***] and the person he wants doesn't even live here.  i told him that and he told me to put my mom or dad on and its my phone and my house. this guy didn't think it was true when i told him that and still calls being a dick.

This is a collection agency going by the name of People First.  The guy is a TOTAL DICK.  He is calling me, using a married name I had over 10 years ago.  I talked to him once but after he was so rude, I've decided I"m not going to even attempt to call him back.  I've also learned that the debt he is collecting on has expired in regards to the statute of limitations.....good luck.

The caller wanted contact information about my next door neighbor, who I care very much about.   I was too stunned and suspicious to ask how they got MY number.  The woman,"Sarah" who identified herself as an employee of City National Bank, wanted me to hand-deliver a message to them to call her.
I Googled this number to see what I could find out.  If this is a collection agency, they did not i.d. themselves as such.  Even if it should be that my neighbors do owe money, they are extremely hard-working people and I respect their sincerity in wanting to do all that is necessary to be in good standing with society.

If I dont know the number I dont answer.

Receiving calls from 888-514-9121.  Caller id says number is from 269-376-1000.  When you call that back it says it is a disconnected number.

I've gotten calls from this number two or three times. Same "Nick" from National City guy. I do have an acct with NatCity and a card that I'm paying on, but his conduct is still suspicious.
The first time he called he said "Okay Mr **** Since we're calling about your account I'm going to need you to verify your social security number" When I told him I wouldn't give it out he goes "Okay well on to the business at hand" If he needed my SS then why was it so easy for him to discuss business without it.

I get several calls from this number, all claiming National City Bank. Whether they are or not Idk. They keep calling for my brother in law. I know he has his account there but Idk if he owes em...probably does. But that is not my concern. I told he doesnt live here. Hopefully they dont call back. But I am sure they will.

Some guy left a message saying he was from National City.  Less than 2 hours later a woman left a message saying "Hun, it's me.  My number is ....... please call me back this isn't a sales call!"

Says they are calling in regards to National City accounts?  Not sure. wouldn't give any info.  Very rude woman!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have gotten calls from this number both at work and at home - never a message.  I actually managed to answer it at work one time (I missed them before because I was on the phone but it shows me who is trying to call in), and when they heard it was a business answering, they immediately hung up. My guess is that they are some kind of scammers - just calling any and all phone numbers to see what they get. I will be curious to see if they try calling my work number again. When I call back - I just get a generic recording to dial the number of your party's extension.

Called looking for info on my stepsister & when he called her by her maiden name I thought he was kinda sketchy since she's been married for about 8 years.  Now I see I must've been somewhat right.  I've been seeing National City on my caller ID for days but this is the first I've been around to answer.

Safe bet this is National City. Or at least one of the less reputable agencies making their calls for them. Not nice people. One missed payment and they sick the pit-bulls on you.

Calling all the time , we tell them we don,t have an account with them and they keep calling to get us to agree with them and pay them.

Collection call from National City - Rude and aggressive people. Even called my neighbor and asked them to leave a message on my door!

Call from 888-514-9121, National City collections. This is hilarious. We did a business line of credit with Nat City 5 years ago. In good standing forever - over 800 credit score. Nat city bought by PNC, with TARP money none the less, and they shut our line of credit off. We used it to capitalize our business, make payroll when AR was short...and they shut us off. The outstanding balance, about $6300, they raised the rate to 29.99% APR!!! I refuse to pay them and they are threatening me! Good luck collecting you F-ing business wrecking criminals. My tax money bailed your a$$es out and you're shutting down my business.
