This number sounded kind of fishy.  I thought it was a customer service number for Amazon.  He wanted me to go to the App Store and punch in some code to get a refund.  I asked what company this was and he wouldn't tell me.

Same here. Found this number online as Amazon customer service. He sent me to the App Store to look for some app to get a refund. I said it was a complicated way to get a refund and he said it was a new process. Told him to reorder instead and he said ok, done, but no confirmation #. Glad I didn’t download an app or give him any info because I think it’s a scam phone number.

It sounded fishy could hardly understand him. And two different people to talk with a supervisor and they hung up

yeah same happened with me today, he asked me install Teamviewer support on phone and was asking to open bank account to refund the money but when I resist those guys start talking nonsense and try to provoke me with bad words, I talked to amazon complaint department they said its not amazon number must be some scam number, they asked me to report this to 911, should I report this to 911?
