Caller left msg on voicemail similar to what VJules wrote in comment above. Others here say it’s for donations to fire dept; I usually get calls for police donations.
Obviously scams. And they keep calling regardless if you tell them to take your number off their lists.

I did not answer. Caller left no message.

Fake fire fighter donation scam, They call you by your name and then say Oh its good you answered. I was was about to turn my answering machine on. Then I ask why you need to turn your answering machine on for if you call me. Its the other way around. This is a YES scam call that's why they want to record you and get your CC # and just wipe you out. Total crooks and drug addicts .

Same as above messages...got hit with the S*it this morning....garbage and a waste of time, again.

robocal to my land line blocked by that rhyming call blocker.  looks like i didn't miss anything useful, only an annoyance avoided!

They'll talk over you because it's not a real person.  It's a recording wanting you to say the word "YES" so they can use it later.  If you don't recognize the number, don't answer, just block it.

Good point above about not saying YES, as they can record your voice & use it later in another SCAM that can cost you dearly.

Calls seem to come daily from this number.  Sounds like a computer voice but not sure.  They want donations for Fire Departments.

It was probably a robot or computer recording.  That's why it kept talking.  Some of these are pretty slick, you can't tell at first if it is a real human or a robot.  Welcome to the future.

Instead of saying "Yes," what if you say "Affirmative," or "Yah," or "uh-huh" ?  Can they use that against you?  Seriously.

This guy was calling me by name on my answering machine  and asking if I was there. They did not leave any information.

Definitely robo scam. I knew it was a scam and I answered to the name he said, which wasn't mine.

I knew it was a scam because the name he said is not my name. Definite scam.
