Wanted access to my office... Yeah right, thats going to happen! Non Stop calling.

"This is George" with such a heavy accent that I could barely understand him, but he was trying to tell me that ATT was converting lines in my neighborhood to VOIP.  I told him that I was in touch with the office of the president of AT&T (I am) and they know not to ever phone me, and if they were going to phone me in an emergency, they should have someone who speaks English well enough so that an English-speaking American can understand them.  Having spent literally HOURS on the phone with AT&T over the past several months over other issues (why I have a contact in their president's office), I KNOW this was a scam.

Got a call from Ashley from this number who said AT&T was upgrading to a VoiP.  Said I would be down for 2 hours while they did this.  I just had internet installed at a new address?  She called the next day.   I called to cancel but guess what.......no customer service representative is available and the recording simply instructs me to "call back" later.  I have dialed the number many times and same thing.  Very frustrating.

they somehow are billing me 50/mo????

No one here would know the answer to that, but YOU can call the number on the Bill they sent and ask THEM why your being billed.
