A debt collection scammer. Claims I owe money, but when I asked them to provide documentation of any loan, they said they did not have to send it to me. That in itself is a big red flag. Remind any debt collector of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. And, they are not going to come arrest you - it is a civil matter. They want you to wire money, or give them a credit card or debit card number - don't.

A "Tina Frank" called me x2 within 10 days of first one.  Sated shes a "State Locator" ad if I did not reply by noon on Monday, 6-6-16, the state prosessors would come to take me away by 1PM.  This is  scam!!  I have been getting these calls or the last 10 years.  I m still waiting to be arrested at work!!!  These calls from Tina Frank come as "RESTRICED" calls.  I do not answer calls I do not recognize.  Most RESTICTED calls are scammers. They leave a voicemail to call 888-531-5229. My docket # is 205869.  Scammers!!!

It is a scam.  I been waiting for these scammers to "arrest" me at work within an hour for the last 10 years!!!  All legit creditors use the US MAIL system t notify you.  There are no bogus docket numbers. It is done totally different.  Not done through a threatening phone call. Would have a LOCAL number to call back; and would identify who they are, what creditor they represent. Not  a "Complaint has been filed", that is your first clue it is a scam.  There are LAWS about this!!!

After hours robo-greeter ID themselves as "The Mediation Firm of Melissa  Reed".    "Mediation Firm" is just scammer double talk for debt collector.   This "Tina Frank" persona mentioned above appears from other numbers on 800notes as well.  Callers pretend to be "locators" from the "State".  They threaten criminal prosecution and civil process.  They often spoof existing law firms and make up law firms that they are supposed to be with.     No idea where they are located .  Best to ignore and block the calls.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

    1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
    2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
    3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening civil proceedings with no intent to follow through, or threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a  violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.)  The same goes for endless telephone harassment

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.
