- KarenUrgent "final reminder" robocalls about needing information clarified on a loan application I did not make have been received from at least 20 different phone numbers from States I never have called like Arkansas, South Carolina, and Louisiana. Voicemails have identical scripts. Most are prerecorded. Every call leaves the same callback number - 888-531-7285 - to the same fake company - Prime Path Lending. Occasionally, a human male will call, leave his name and repeat the script verbatim on his voicemail. Calls are never answered, are never returned and are immediately blocked. I am using the "Do Not Disturb" option on my phone more. Calls continue but they're less frequent.

You would think that after all this time people would know how phone calls from these places are made. Computer software makes the calls based on its settings. Usually they will call every number within a specific area code and prefix. Doesn't matter if it is connected or not. When you don't answer it simply puts the number back into the queue to be dialed over and over again until you do answer or they change the area code and prefix that they are calling.Quote:You would think after 100 or so ignored voicemails they would get the hint that they will not be scamming me, but no they just keep calling...
