- MaryClaimed she was from Microsoft and they wanted to fix my computer by giving them access to it. Her name was Kathy with an India accent. I asked her "how do I know this is not a scam?" She said because this is being recorded. Like that's going to make it real. I told her I didn't have time right now and she gave me a call back number for later. Yeah. When hell freezes over. Don't fall for it. Shame on her.

- JessA man with an Indian accent called me and I had to ask him three times what the name of his company was. I still never understood it. He told me my "IP" address and that I had several security breeches over the last 5 days. He asked me to confirm my IP address and I couldn't so he tried to sound official and tell me he was accurate, (I have since looked it up and he was making it up, of course). I told him he was lying and asked him to tell me my email address which is on file with my true security company. He said he would have to look it up and call me back. Obviously, a scam and I've blocked the number.

- TouzetI called 888 545 4189 about Microsoft's closing down tech support. I told them that I worked for Microsoft, don't know of any closings, that they are lying and are scammers. He hung up on!! LOL! Don't really work for Microsoft. JOKE IS ON THEM!!!!

- OuttachipsRobocall that leaves a voicemail. Claims they are no longer in business and have a refund to send me. Yeah, and I'm the Queen of England! Used my call blocker that rings once then cuts them off. These nuts called SIX more times this afternoon. Relentless! Don't even talk to these people they are really BAD!
- Caller: "Microsoft"
- Mary| 1 reply...so they've called some more, today I answered and told them they were sad little scammers... and the kid asks, "are you (name)?" He's trying to infer he knows my name and who knows what else. He thinks it's gonna intimidate me. I told him no, that it belonged to the last customer who had the number (which is true, but it's been a long long time since anyone called asking for them). He was using an antiquated dark web list. And I laughed at him. So of course, the little ticked-off Indian boy then says a word that begins with F, and a word that begins with B. He sure ran out of vocabulary fast! William F. Buckley, Jr. once said that "vulgarity is the last refuge of the ignorant." 'Nuff said! They'll give up sooner or later, but will probably continue to disseminate my number to other scammers, as well. Luckily, most scammers are harmless and just annoying.
I'm thinking it would be fun to say yes, I paid you, go ahead and send my refund... you should already have all my billing information, right?... oh, no??? Oh dear, that's terrible... ". ;)- Caller: Microsoft Mumbai
- Mary replies to MaryAdd this at the end, "scam Mumbai Mafia Microsoft scam call"
- DKBa total scam they made me laugh my butt off.
