Sandra Turner left message on electric account refer to E033171 when i call back. Sounds like a total scam, so i did not call back

thank you as i just received a call with person with those same  033171 numbers

I never called back and blocked this number which actually was a local call number,

I got the same message exactly - even the reference number was the same!!!  TOTAL SCAM

They called and left a voice message. The voice sounded real for the most part but I do not think it was due to some numbers she spoke did not sound right. She said she was trying to contact me about the supply charges on my electric bill. She did not mention my name or the name of my electric supplier or my actual electric delivery company. She said her name was Sandra Turner. She gave me a phone number 888-549-0330 to call her back and I was to use the ID number  E033171 that she also left on the voice mail.

Just got the same voice message from the same person, to call back on the same number, for the same ID number. As mentioned below, she just sounded so professional  (probably professional scam artist). Glad I checked this site!

Same thing happened to me on my answering machine, same name, same supply charge, same reference number. But bells started ringing when source number was a local number with the name of the person who was supposed to be making the call. Search shows that individual is 82 year old man. Not this, "Sandra Turner"

Same person, Sandra Turner, same ref # but my caller i d. came up at Pa. State Police.

Did you know it is illegal to spoof numbers - especially one of the police.  That is all you need to know about a CROOK as a caller.

Same message from Sandra Turner. Same ID reference number E033171.

I got the exact same message -- same return call number, same reference number.  No explanation what it was about.
