Phone number called me for my ex, said i was listed at a contact. I took a call back number with reference number. They said they have been trying to get hold of him. Steven something group

This is a scam! They call from different numbers. They say you have a legal case against you and they try to verify your address. They call you, your family and employer.  I spoke with them and refused to verify my address and told them if I had some legal case I think I would be aware of it and they would need to serve me not call me! After I spoke with them they left a message on my daughter's phone for me. I called the number they left back (888) 549-4517 and the answer machine said you have reached customer service.  I left a message requesting them to cease and desist all communication with me and anyone who knows me or I will contact the authorities. And again reiterated that if I have a legal case I need to be served.  I also added in good luck to you sir because that's always their ending line on every voicemail.  This same thing happened to me about 5 years ago they called my hr at my job! They really try to scare you and some people may fall for it because they are so harassing.

Oh my gosh. This just happened to me on my son's phone. His phone is in my name, but they leave a message for me on his number.  I've looked at my call log and I have never received a call from them myself, only his phone. I don't have any legal issues and I'm pretty sure I would know if I did. Thanks for your post. I've told my son to block the number. Good luck to them.

I may have fell prey to this scam.. I really want to find out about this company before they take any more of my money..please  help.!!!
