We also received a call from this number. He said his name was Alex and from the Dept of Labor. He said they mailed something to our restaurant, but we have yet to receive anything. I didn't give him any info, and he said he couldn't email me anything. Does anyone have verification that this is really the Dept of Labor?

Called while I was on the other line, left phone number to call 888-549-6703 with a caller id of 214-651-6900 from the US Dept of Labor. Called and asked what it was they needed, she said they sent out a packet for a statistics survey (which we have never received) Asked her if this was mandatory to which she replied no, they could get their statistics without our participation. Told her if the owners wanted to participate they would do so once they received the packet. She said it is her job to call monthly for statistic information, after telling her we have not received a call such as this the whole 6 years I have been answering the phone she said she will keep calling until the owner provides her with the information. I am wondering if she understands the phrase "NOT MANDATORY".

This number, with extension 36807 was left on our general customer service line. I returned the call and left a message for Sequilla Tramel. To disconnect, it was clearly a cell phone to me.

I got a call from this number also, requesting my email so she can send me a form to fill out. She did email me something and the email did not look too official. She called back more than 5 times to follow up. Nothing seemed like this was too official and like other reviewers pointed out, she mentioned this was not a mandatory survey... so why the bother 7 times? I did not return her call. I don't give information voluntarily.. who knows who this is.

Same as above. They want me to call back. But I will wait for them to call again. Why is the dept of labor calling from Texas anyway. I think it is fraud.

I received a voice mail from Billie Logan with the US Dept of Labor calling from 214.651.6900 saying she had some documents from the federal government she needed to send me for my company.  She left me the 888.549.6703, ext 825316, to call back.  I checked into the number she called from, and it comes up as a call from a collection call from Ford Motor Credit.  Two different law firms listed this number as a collection call from Ford.  That seems very suspicious to me.  If the US Dept of Labor needs to send my company something, they know where to mail it without talking to me.  I'm not going to call back.  One of our other companies was selected to participate in labor statistics so when that person calls, I plan on asking her what this other number is all about.

I also received a voicemail from Billy Logan who was MALE and clearly reading off script. Same number, extension and call source number. I had a situation like this about a decade ago where they were relentless in calling.  When asked if mandatory they said no so I told them I would not be participating and that was the end.

I received a call from Scott Kinney saying that he had a different Illinois Department of Employment Security account ID for my company and wanted me to verify it.  He asked me to call him at ext 825362 if the account ID changes to the account ID that he gave to me.

Recieved a call from Crystal White at the 888-549-6703 ext 825332 that keeps calling regarding this survey.  Almost every day! It didn't sit right with me.  She asked if I got a packet in the mail which I did not.  She then emailed me all of the information and it was even more suspicious so I called the actual Oregon dept of Labor and he told me my instincts were correct and it didn't sound like anything they would have sent to to ignore it. Especially since it comes from a Dallas TX address.  He said they do not have offices there.  I blocked that number she left and reported the email as spam.

If the US Dept. of Labor contacted you then why are you asking the Oregon Dept. of Labor about it?  US is Federal and they do have offices in Texas.  Oregon is state and would not have offices anywhere but Oregon.  What was so suspicious about this email?  Oh, and this phone number does belong to the Dallas, Tx office of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.

I bet the email came from a .gov address to didn't it?

You called the Oregon Department of Labor, so of course they would say they don't have offices there and its not something they would send, but you failed to tell them it was U.S. BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS that contacted you.
