Payday Loans - calling to say i was approved for a loan - I HAVE NEVER APPLIED FOR ONE!!

Somehow I got on some crap call list, after texting back to a msg with "Stop" as the message said to do. STUPID mistake. I then received over 3 dozen phone calls in a weeks time. 50% where not in this country. 20% you couldn't call back (I called a few back to give them a piece of my mind..) and only one left a message. It was all tied to payday loans. I blocked the numbers in USA on my ATT cellphone plan. Things have been quiet for a couple days, except this call which I just received. I will block it.

My advice, dont text back or answer a call from an unknown number. (Duh, I knew this but didn't listen to myself..) If its important, they will leave you voicemail!

This is the guy responsible for all this.  Call him and jam up his mailbox untill the FTC and the Attournies office can put a stop to all this.

this company has called me at least 6 times today alone....  i have asked 6 times to get off thier list and they jsut hang up and call me back

they got my cell somehow, I have a free call blocker that I use, but it drops my calls when the blocker comes on..

This guy is driving me CRAZY!  He states that someone has a lawsuit against me - NO WAY!  I have spoken to him once to call him a liar and scammer - to no avail.  I just don't answer the phone anymore.

I have been recieving calls from this number for quite sometime now and have never applied for any PAYDAY loans and have no intentions of doing so. So how can one stop them from calling my NUMBER and get off thier list??????????

I have been getting calls from this number for 2 weeks now, and each time they call..I tell them to STOP calling my number. These are not American people, and I am not prejudice, but these are scam artists thinking that they are going to get some money from hard working people. I think this should be a crime and these people need to have harrassment charges brought against them, but they are slick or think they are, because they tend to have several different numbers, but I have been keeping track of their voices, and each one has a heavy accent. These people need to find a legit job and leave innocent folks like all of us that have posted, and all the ones that they are harrassiing many, many times a day.

Have received four calls today from 888-556-5276, last time I answered the phone, could tell someone was on the line, however did not response after saying "hello" there are so many scammers they have nothing to do than to call hard working people with their crap!  The number will be reported to our State Attorney General and other agencies,  they are nothing more than a bunch scum bags!

They keep calling my work place.  They need to stop.

The best thing we all can do is to work together on this and NOT answer calls from numbers or people we do not recognize.  Anyone from a ligitimate (and professional) business will leave a message.  If we follow this simple rule, these scammers will not get what they want and will no longer have the incentive to prey on people with their scam tactics.  You see...the problem is that they are in other countries and out of U.S. legal jurisdiction, so they know they can get away with this.  The only way to fight this is to take away any incentive they have to continue their operations, and that is that no one even answer their calls, in addition to  blocking their numbers.

Right on!!!  I just dont answer or else I classify them under "dont answer"
I have made the mistake of answering them and I tell them to roll around in pigs' blood...especailly if some [***] tells me his name is "Robert Thompson"  yeah right buddy and I'm Rasheed Al Ka-Boom

These are mostly Pakastanis' and I hope they all rot in hell.

I keep getting calls from this number as well in addition to calls from 772-236-3139 which after Google searching I found that it is a local resident in port st lucie Florida. I get calls from both numbers about 10 times everyday. No messages, when I answer they don't talk. They only talk when I call back.... It's kinda weird and I feel like they are pulling a fast one on me.
