Received a fax for "end of season vacation package liquidation"  From Central State Travel Reservations Dept.  Call now number is 888-556-9050  Prices are to good to be true.  In addition the remove from list number is 888-867-7905

Received fax from this company. Anybody know who this company is? I did a reverse phone check and came up with nothing.

they are a travel agency in Florida. they do corporate travel and also they do some retail packages. Good company and good people.. I reccomend them and beware of others that are not honest and work as these guys do,.

I have also been receiving faxes about an "End of Season Vacation Package Liquidation".  I received the same fax twice this week and several times last year.  The sheet says to call 1-888-867-7905 to be deleted from the mailing list but despite trying this several times, I keep getting their faxes.

Last year I even called their other number (1-888-556-9050) to complain about these faxes and a woman said my number would be taken off the list.  That didn't happen.

This outfit is very shady if you ask me!

Good and reputable companies do not engage in mass spam marketing via unsolicited emails and faxes.  Also, they have an "F" rating with the BBB.

It's easy to post complaints about companies and their marketing strategies.  It's also easy to post glowing praise (false or otherwise).  Beware.

I get numerous faxes,  I call each time the 1-888-867-7905 to be removed.  I think each time you call you are registering for more!  You dont even finish entering your number and it THANKS YOU.  

So I call the  direct line... get a man who is terribly rude asking for a confirmation number when I told him I have phoned numerous times to be removed.  He claims I would have been given a confirmation # if I had done that..... as I attempted to try and tell him the number is automated... he is yelling calling me a liar..... finally when I  " shut up" ,  the lovely HERNANDO gave me a conf. # which  he will then call the company to remove it himself...... SURE!!!! I can only imagine where my number will be sold to now......

nice to have such people on the other end of the phone representing their company...... 100% clASS!

Tis company is out to rip you off. They jack up the price whne you call, are ignorant when you quation their pricing and they actually slammed the phone down when I companined and wanted to speak to a manager. They are under investigation for fraud and I have yet to hear any stories that prove otherwise. The good comments above are from current staff members of the copmpany.

I have been reading the following replies and all of them are true.  I also keep calling to have my number removed and it never is.  I called to speak to an agent and found him to be extremely rude.  What I am doing right now is a first for me as I do not go into this chitty, chatty style of complaining.  But I can't get over the fact that this man called me a "[***]"..

Ok - half of the messages are good and half are bad - is it just best to stay away???

Funny for us to read these messages and know just who are writing them and the lies they produce. I am the Customer Service Manager and have heard many of these people complaining call and the only true complaint that they have is that they wanted their phone number deleted and they feel that we did not do it when NOTHING was ever bought from our offices and they have no dealing with us other than calling and cursing at our agents and screaming like children about having their number removed and do not want to listen to reasonable answers from the agent.
As an insight, let me tell you all how it is to be here and when we DO send out a fax drop. We get calls from people  instead of asking to be removed, they call belittling the agents, screaming rude obscenities at them, telling them how they are losers and bnad people when indeed these are great people trying to feed their families just like all of the others out there. If they want the number deleted, let me give you a hint, just call and ASK kindly and say THANK YOU and I can assure you that the agents will take them off. It is our policy here to strictly delete all numbers 3 times per week,. we scrub our lists against do not call registries and we work hard to do a great job. To get screamed at always and to be belittled really stinks as a good employee and YES, I have heard a few that could not take it no more and yell back, but they are reprimanded and talked to, but still I have to feel bad because I know how they are being treated.
What people misunderstand is that the deletion number belongs to a deletion company who does nothing but deletions and they are deleting for whoever is faxing that particular day. They could be deleting for many companies that same week or month but they are usually NOT the same company.
There are many travel companies and they are use similar documents because the fax companies give us standards they look for. I assure you they delete your number because we do not want to receive the deletion or waste money sending you a fax you dont want, receiving a phone call that we pay for and do not want to, and you waste the time of a sales person who could be selling so for many reasons we are very strict on getting these off our list. I have heard many agenst go and try to explain it only to get cursed at and humiliated! If you want to be removed, call the number at the bottom as well as call the operator and ask kindly to be deleted, do not argue with them or curse at them and I can promise you t hat you will be removed asap.
I am very frustrated that people will come on here and slam a company who is licensed, bonded insured and registered with IATAN and doing the right thing for many years.
Our company puts our REAL name on all advertising, we put our number, and we put put our information. I do not believe any other company out there does that. We work hard to be the best and do not deserve the bad comments that people put for the fact that they are only mad they got a fax. How about TELL THE TRUTH and show that we have traveled more than 200-300 people per week on great vacations both discounted and not. We have been doing this for many years and because you received a fax document does not always mean it is from our company. If you have a problem with our service, then let us know by calling and speaking with Customer Service, if you have a problem with a fax, call the number at the bottom and you can kindly call an agents and request it get removed. You can ask for your confirmation number as well for the deletion. Calling screaming like fools will only get you hung up on or not listened to.  Also be sure that you are talking about the right company because many documents look familiar and we are NOT all the same people as many of you think!

If you are sincere then TAKE MY FAX NUMBER OFF YOUR LIST. I have made this request NUMEROUS times without desired result. Makes me very angry at the waste of paper and my time.

If all you get are angry phone calls with people swearing  and attacking your agents then you should rethink how you contact people.  People HATE spam but they hate fax spam even more.  If you expect people to be kind and nice about having themselves removed you are living in a world of your own.

What's worse is the mass marketing company you've selected either does not honour removal requests or is very slow to process them.  When a person gets multiple junk faxes after already requesting to be removed you have to understand that they would become angry.

You should look for a new company to do your mass marketing instead. One that immediately removes people from lists the moment they call and not 3 to 10 days later after they've sent 7 faxes.

You can expect more angry calls until you find a better company and way to advertise.

Getting sick and tired of receiving SPAM faxes from these people. Jay complains about callers being rude. Well guess what Jay, that should tell you something about his how much people appreciate the Central State Travel spam faxes. Can't understand why people are rude ? Well duh ... people do not like to be spammed and scammed !!!!

Using the "delete from list" number does not do any good .... as a matter of fact, I think the only thing it does do is confirm that the fax number they dialed is a good number and they will continue to use it.

If Central State Travel is legitimate and really is sending faxes because they only wish to offer us a great deal, why don't they include their fax number with all faxes they send out ??? We have a business and always include phone number AND fax number with any communication we send out.

Central State Travel uses many different toll free numbers and is constantly changing them. A number you call today may be out of service next week.

Although you are probably right that people phone in and yell and scream at your agents about removing them from your fax list..........I almost feel like doing the same but I don't want to lower my standards to this garbage.

My point is simple, "Who gave you permission to fax us anyway, no invitation, no email from you asking if its okay to fax us?"    You waste our ink cartridges and paper and frustrate us to the point that people scream at you because you don't remove our fax numbers of which we never gave you permission to use.

AND HOW DID YOU GET OUR NUMBERS? I CERTAINLY NEVER GAVE IT TO YOU...

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES deal with this company. They are unscrupulous and, if your voice complaints, will be SWORN AT, degraded and berated.

There is a reason you cannot find a phone number or a fax number for these FRAUD ARTISTS ....

I called Central State Travel to have them stop spamming my office with their garbage.  They said they did....10 minutes later, I receice 5 more from them.
I call them again, and the phone was handed to a guy called JAY HAMMOND who began swearing at me and threatened my life!
I made a complaint to the BBB and JAY HAMMOND replied to the charge by saying I sexually harrased his agent!!!!!!  He made an entire essay of lies to the BBB just to try and cover his ignorant business practices.
JAY HAMMOND is a liar and the company he represents is a scam.

I urge everyone to stay away from these con-artist travel scams....CENTRAL STATE being the one to watch out for because every time they get too many complaints..they change their name!!!

How did I get these I asked to be removed from there fax list numerous times the last time I called I was told to pound salt. I waited a few days and called back asked about the trips and said I wwould only pay via fax and they sent  me a pretty cover page and and a invoice to pay instead of payng them I sent a black fax page asking to be removed. Then the games started I received dozens of obscene calls finally had to have the Altomonte Springs FL police go give him a visit. They can be reached at 407-339-2441

You obviously have the wrong company because our company has an A+ Rating with the BBB please check your resources before you slander someone, it could have legal repercussions on you.

Jay, if you are so sincere and confident in your company's reputation and record, can you please post your fax number. I would like to send my request for removal and be able to have a record of it.
We are an amature sports organization with a very tight budget, and will never use or purchase trips.
Your faxes to our clubhouse are annoying and use up precious supplies that we can ill afford to waste.
I await your anticipated favourable response.

So I made an atemt to get they fax number to dump tonns of fax as a present for them, they sad it is not public.
I`m sure they have one I wish to know that.
