- Shy| 3 repliessame number text me. I called them knowing it was a scam. they said I took out a pay day loan in 2015 and they will be sending me a judgement. Spoke with an Ashley Stevenson and a Manager named Elijah Walker. I've never in my life took a page day loan. Kinda scary when they have your last 3 current addresses, last 4 of your current checking account number and the name of my bank. But...this same scam happened to me years ago! I contacted the police department last time and had an officer speak with the rep at the time.

- Kelz replies to Shy| 1 replyThe same thing just happened to as well...spoke with the same ppl you mentioned....same thing...a payday loan...and asked if I still bank with bank of America....have not banked with them in over 7 years! They knew my sister's address I use to visit from 9 years ago...and claim I owe a pay day loan....i never had a payday loan and never applied for one...he still could not get the name of the company he worked for....he could not tell me how much the debt was...and when I called back to get a manager...i got the same exact rep...elijah. Furthermore...it was creepy they knew my current address and claimed they have been sending letters...never got them. This is fraud
- Taliah replies to LindaI just got the same text today.
- KellieGot a text and immediately called. Spoke with a Samantha stating I had taken out a loan back in 2015 for $500 and now in default. Never ever taken out a loan. They had a lot of my information. Insisted on speaking with management and was told it was Elijah Davis but there was a long wait. Then I insisted on a contact so my lawyer could call directly. Samantha said I would have to wait for Elijah so she put me on hold. Funny thing is the phone call was disconnected. Tried to call back and phone number would not work. STUPID SCAMMERS! Why can’t people get a legit job and quit trying to steal from people!

- GinaI received a text regarding a “debt” from this number. They never provided a company name, and collecting via text is definitely against the law. As soon as I politely brought up forwarding their information to my attorney, the rep started speaking over me and became really nasty. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and she claimed they weren’t picking up, then disconnected the call.

- Sharon replies to LaureYou should never ever reply to these scam artists
- HenryDitto all the above..a text message to call re: outstanding debt. It could be disposed of in three forms - 1) pay today; or 2) monthly installments; or wait to be served and fight in court. Decision was a non-brainer - I said I'd take my chances in court. They have the burden of proof and there is NONE !!!

- JC| 1 replySame as above, except when is said it says scam on the internet. She said well then you can wait until you receive your documentation in the mail and take it to your attorney. Never found out what it was supposed to be for because she hung up.

- Michigan| 1 replyReceived a text from 888-557-4631 stating I owed a payday loan from 2015. I called the 877-200-3610 sent in the text twice. They insisted that I borrowed $500 but would settle for $363.12 and had to be paid immediately. Would not accept payment with credit card only Visa or Mastercard from bank account. I told them I was not paying because I do not owe anything. They claimed that they had my drivers license number, routing and account number from a previous bank, two addresses where I use to live. Real scary... I refused to pay, they claimed I would be taken to court.
- Caller: It was a text message
