What the heck? No info on the Internet as to who this is that calls stating Online Security Services. Google turns up nothing. I had a credit card compromised at the same time I started receiving spam calls on m y hoem phone and cell. It's making my life miserable. God will take care of you people!

Annoying number. I clicked 9 to hangup but they keep calling. Who are they?

This number called me this morning too. When you try to call back, they state it's the outbound number for "Online Security Services" but that's it.

Got the call, and now i got the address. Lets see if they run a scam now lol.

Let the answering machine pick it up. It was just a repeated message about pressing 1 if I expected the call or press 9 to hang up. Said it was Online Security Services. Get me suspicious but I can't find any info about this. I hope somebody isn't trying to access my accounts.

I got this call earlier intentionally; I was working on filling out my taxes, and I needed to access my w-2 (it's online), and I needed to update my password/pin, and part of the process included them calling me with an automated message to give me some temporary security code to enter while I was creating the password/pin (1 to have it read you the code, 9 to cancel and hangup).

If you're getting the call, either someone is trying to get to some financial information (unlikely) or someone entered the wrong number when they needed to get the code (probably more likely).

Got the same "ineligible response" when the answering machine didn't respond to the 'robo voice"? What are they up to thuis is early Sunday morning and I do NOT have "security problems" they need to fix.

I had this same thing happen. I needed to reprint my 2010 W-2. I called to have it emailed to me. Long story short and 3 days later I didn't get the email. I called back and a man, who I could hardly understand, said I had to contact the IRS. He kept giving me the website, over and over and over! I finally just hung up. Now they keep calling me back!

This number has called my home 4 times this morning, and I have an unlisted number. I tried calling it back, but got the same response that it was an outbound number. Very annoying,as I work night shift as a nurse and it keeps waking me. I can't turn off the phone, as I have a terminally ill family member and I need to keep my line open. This is getting ridiculous!!

This is the number that called me when I forgot my PIN code for my online payroll. it calls you with a confirmation code then you type the code into the website and it allows you to reset your password/pin. I'm guessing many different companies use this service.

Most likely someone forgot to update their phone # and it's calling  you on accident. I doubt  you will be able to speak to anyone by calling the number back.

This number is so that you can get your W2 form if was filed electronically by your company.  Lowes uses this method.  Not sure about other companies.  Each time you get a call there is a confirmation code that they give you when you press 1.  

I received a call from this number with the computer voice saying "Online Security Services" and press 1 if expecting the call and press 9 to disconnect. I hung up. 10 minutes later it called back and this time I pressed 9 and haven't heard from it again. After reading other's comments on this site I decided it isn't anything to be concerned about and I've just blocked it on my phone.

This is a number that called me when i was pulling  up a w-2 on w2express.com. it didnt ask for information (was automated), as a matter of fact the website had the number call me to give me a verification code to proceed with my w2 stuff. This was to verify that i was accessing my own w2, not somebody else. it is a little interesting that people are getting scam calls from this number, but i wanted to pass along that this number is SUPPOSED to call you with a verification number for w2express.com if you are getting your w2's online.

post note- w2express.com (for those of you who dont know) is a LEGITIMATE website. a lot of employers (when asked on how to get your w2 if you didnt get it in the mail) will tell you you can get it there. there are a lot of legitimate companies on there, two of the companies i worked for (walmart and labor ready) had me go there. right before i filed i got my walmart w2 and was able to cross check the info the website gave me for my walmart w2 and it was the same info on the w2 i got in the mail. basically what im trying to say is normally this is to assist in identity verification

this number is for password changing confirmation, such as for payroll services etc.  it is used for phone confirmation when you make changes to access for example online payroll etc. if you did not make changes check your payroll to make sure.. it is not spam

I received FOUR calls in a row from these people!  press 1 if you were expecting this call... yada yada yada.  I know of no one who should be calling me from the online yet i wonder if someone is pulling up my w2?  i am an identity theft victim and they did try to get my federal tax return but the jokes on them!  I OWE MONEY!  SO........ for the dogs who are pulling any crap, i hope you all burn in hell!  now........LEAVE ME ALONE!

We had someone file a tax return in our name last year, and now it appears that they are trying to do it again this year.  My husband received four calls and some texts from this number...

I received 2 calls back to back from this number and a text with a passcode?. I had recently had someone I used to know steal and use my information without my permission a few days ago.Strange?
